I always try to take less than ideal performances into perspective, so to get a perspective on Beasts day I checked the rushing stats across the league.

And found the #1 rusher yesterday was Terrel Pryor! You know the QB replacement for that other guy that was supposed to start last year but got replaced. Even AP ended up with only 98 yards on 19 attempts (so subtract that one 78 yarder, and he was at .9 yards per attempt! )

Bottom line, teams were throwing the hell out of the ball. Across the league the run game just wasn't getting up to the speed of the passing going on.

Maybe offensive lines just take a couple games to start ramping up.

(Oh don't talk to be about Reggie Bush, that was a catch and run on a checkdown).

Though we'll see how/what Alfred Morris does today.

A QB the #1 rusher... sheesh.

Funny, only RB to go over 100 was a backup.

Who then broke his hand and now requires surgery.

Supposedly broke it on the first play of the game, too. Tough kid.
