The love for Jake Bobo is inflated here….

I like Bobo too but Bobo has not made an impact this year, I’m sorry…..but that’s the truth.

The guy is seemingly a good dude but let’s not say he’s anything more than a 4th or 5th weapon on the Seahawks offense…
I liked how they used bobo last year. The jet sweep touchdown!! Plus he blocks well, he’s a really team guy, yeah they haven’t used him much this year cause our offense is just so impressive….

Me thinks he was being a touch facetious.

So many receivers around the NFL don't catch with their hands. It's all over the league. Just watch one day of Red Zone and it's a trip how many people just catch with their body. Larry Fitzgerald always caught with his hands. He was phenomenal. Without a doubt my all-time favorite non-Seahawk WR.
Perna has a pretty good video making a case for Fitz as the real WR GOAT. And I agree with it. He's definitely in the top echelon—maybe #3 behind Rice and Moss.

Just my $0.02.

I'm not sure what Proehl is doing on that list. He had just 28 catches over two seasons here. For context, both Jake Bobo and CJ Prosise have more receptions as a Seahawk. Those 28 catches were on 66 targets too.

Koren Robinson will always be one of our biggest "what ifs". Over the last 11 games of his second season (2002), he had eight games with at least 94 yards receiving. Over those last six games where Hasselbeck went on the heater of all heaters, KRob had games of 8/168/1, 9/143, and 9/103/1. His 1240 yards that season ranks third in Seahawks history behind DK's 2020 (1303 yards) and Largent's 1985 (1287 yards).

Strangely enough, Robinson does own a Seahawks record: longest reception. Not only that, but it's the franchise record for longest play from scrimmage period. It was a 90-yard TD thrown by Seneca Wallace in 26-7 loss to the Eagles in 2008, when we brought him back four years after he had last played in Seattle, due to an insane rash of WR injuries.

Fair point, I guess it was just fixated on how well he did after leaving Seattle. Which still kind of burns my ass.

By far, the GOAT. Jerry Rice lives in his neighborhood, but he's not Larry.

One that should be added to the list and a very forgotten Seahawk receiver is Darrell “touchdown” Turner.

In only four seasons he had a stat line of:

Games: 59
Catches: 101
*****Touchdowns: 36*****

Ricky Proehl made the catch that sent the Kurt Warner Rams 1.0 to the Super Bowl. Late in the game, low scoring, Tampa Bay basically stuffing the Rams offense, Warner pulls a rainbow throw out of his ass just before he gets leveled and Proehl pulls a nice contested catch out of his ass for the TD. I recall watching this at the time thinking the Cinderella Rams were being molested by that Big, Bad, Mean Buccaneers defense. Then that happened.

Never played a down for us but Expansion Draft allocation I believe Ahmad Rashad AKA Bobby Moore, didn't want to play for an expansion team even if it was close to Oregon his college.

But he did help us kick start our defense out of the gate garnering us multiple players from The Vikings to work with Patera who was on their defensive staff. Bob Luurtsema, Carl Eller, and a few others, yes past their prime years but real valuable as far as teachers for players that would be early foundation guys.

The Receiver tree started with him and Largent, both cast offs with the expansion. One helped us on the field from Houston, the other from Buffalo.

He only played one season for us, but one of my favorite Seahawk receivers was Joe Jurevicius. Excellent hands, a big red zone threat, but the thing I liked best about him was his blocking. Best blocking WR we've ever had. Are you reading this, Metcalf?

there are teams that just can't put a good WR corps together to save their asses *cough*Patriots*cough*.
Gronk
Moss
Welker
Edelman
Amendola
Branch
Irving Fryar
Troy Brown
Terry Glenn

Most teams have had a number of really good receivers. I think the Ravens have historically had a lot less. More so than the Patriots
