Absolutely. Cross, ballers on D, etc. An immenent OL signing (or other position) is not a forgone conclusion.Could they be opening up space for next year though for extending someone like Cross if he keeps balling? Would cost major $$$$

Is Cross a FA next season?Could they be opening up space for next year though for extending someone like Cross if he keeps balling? Would cost major $$$$
Recorded at Headley Grange , in the stairwell with it's unique acoustics.A tip of the hat to JB and how he pounds in that song.
Yep. With controversary on how they set it up. Where were the mics, settings, etc. No doubt one of the most identifiable drum intros of all time.Recorded at Headley Grange , in the stairwell with it's unique acoustics.
No but we can extend after this year and if he keeps up last week's form we should before the price gets ridiculous later onIs Cross a FA next season?
Probably not.Is there anyway the Seahawks can keep Tyler Lockett after this year with that contract?
I mean, yeah, but why do that in week 1 when you can do it toward the end of the season. This move sounds like they want something done before the trade deadline.Could they be opening up space for next year though for extending someone like Cross if he keeps balling? Would cost major $$$$
Or a necessity. Just sayin'The Seahawks have 6 players who have salaries and/or roster bonuses of $10M+ in 2025. Those 6 players are due just over $110M, all of which will count against the 2025 cap. The Seahawks can, and will, move a lot of that cap into later years - if the players stay. There aren't many longer term contracts or cap hits beyond 2025. There isn't any real pressure to move money back this year. It's just extra flexibility in case an opportunity pops up.
.,One would think. Why would they do it just to say "see we have more cap space to look at."
Or a necessity. Just sayin'![]()
Dremont might be the next one to be off the books if he doesn't play well..,
And they chose to absorb Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs cap hits this season IIRC so they can get it over and off their books
