Cross, Witherspoon and JSN are all under contract thru 2026.

To date:

Riq Woolen has accumulated the 4th highest defensive team snaps.

Boye Mafe has accumulated the 7th highest defensive team Snaps.

Suggesting both are core members of the 2025 defense.

Why not? His contract is up after this season like Riq
and both have not earned a raise so far.

And we still need LB's.


If he is not getting the sacks, or if the numbers don't show up then he won't be expensive.

I had heard it from somewhere that the 3 of them were up after this year you are right. I do think at least one of them will be extended early if the feeling you have out played your rookie contract you get an early extension

JSN is a free agent in 2027, but since he's a first round pick it will most likely be 2028.

There’s no way the Hawks let JSN get to his 5th year option that is showing a player disrespect in today’s NFL. This year JSN is outplaying his rookie contract
