Is there anything else to talk about? Or is it just game on?
By the way, in case it's not understood already, I hate the 9ers.

They're the one team I really dislike.
I don't know if anyone posted but they're wearing blue/blue.
Wasn't worried at all until its been determined that Darnold hasn't thrown a ball since he hurt his oblique.......View attachment 77547
We're heavily favored
We've had 2 weeks off
We face a Pissed off wounded tiger
Eagles fell into it.
Yes I am worried.
"even the 49ers' media seem to think that things are heavily in the Seahawks' favor"I listened to a lot of pre-game analysis, and even the 49ers' media seem to think that things are heavily in the Seahawks' favor. The Shanahan/Saleh factor might keep the game close, but the talent deficit for the 49ers is too great.
A couple of my own observations: I think that Ji'ayir Brown being out is significant. Having a starting safety out should negatively impact their already suspect secondary. With the 49ers focused on trying to stop the run, Darnold can hopefully exploit this weakness.
Second, a lot is riding on Macdonald's preparation for his first playoff game as a head coach. It's a tall order, matching wits with one of the best coaches in the NFL. But if he got the team ready and can make adjustments on the fly, the Seahawks will be okay.
Third, I think the 12s will be there in full force for the first time this season, and that will carry the team to victory.
On NFL radio, they were interviewing reoorters who cover the 49ers yesterday (and yes, they interviewed Seattle reporters as well), and they felt that Shanahan has been holding things together with duct tape all season long but that it was bound to be exposed."even the 49ers' media seem to think that things are heavily in the Seahawks' favor"
Well, my goodnes, that's saying something![]()
Yeah, they did a great job of holding the Seahawks to 13 pts. :/On NFL radio, they were interviewing reoorters who cover the 49ers yesterday (and yes, they interviewed Seattle reporters as well), and they felt that Shanahan has been holding things together with duct tape all season long but that it was bound to be exposed.
A couple of these people said that they think it all comes down to whether Shanahan can figure out Macdonald's defense enough to score enough points. Interestingly, they didn't think the 49er defense was going to hold the Seahawks' offense to 13 points as they have the last two games, so the 49ers would have to put points on the board if they were going to win. So they are more positive about the Seahawks' offense than the folks here.
It's a very young team overall with little playoff experience. That's one advantage the 49ers have. Not "worried", but I think it's less of a foregone conclusion than fan consensus is. It's still Mac's first playoff game as head coach, and it's against a very-well coached staff with considerable experience. Darnold hasn't really been in this position either.
