I think we should draft Campbell, or Booker. They have all pro potential. Booker is blowing people off the line vs LSU. He is a very good mover for his size. If Abdul Carter, Booker and Campbell are on the board, whom do you pick?

i know how much help we need on O line. I get it. I really do, but I have a feeling we use FA for that. Booker or Campbell would be great but I kind of see MM wanting to get his guys on Defense. This is a good top half of the draft for DT's and I can totally see MM wanting to add Mason Graham (other top end options are Grant, Nolen and Walker) to shore up his defensive line for a long time. I have this feeling that's where he will want to address in the draft because that position doesn't open up often.

Looks like Seattle drafting DL over OL is continuing then….

It seems like DL guys are almost a dime a dozen every draft. But really talented OL guys don’t come around as often as DL guys do.

I personally think, Seattle and whoever the GM will be, changes this, and adds OL as the top priority cause DL is deeper than OL in a lot of drafts….at least that is my personal opinion….

I guess we shall see….

In this draft there's not a lot of talent across the board at the top. I think the O line will be addressed in free agency. We've spent a ton of draft capital on the O line (haynes, bradford, jerrell, oluwatimi, laumea (sp?) sundell) that need to sit, learn and develop. we need veterans IMHO to come in to start. I do like Campbell and Booker and even Banks in the draft.

Thats just how I see the offseason and draft playing out. I think Schneider spends money this year on the O line. Only time will tell, it's way too early

I feel like superstar DL are about has hard to get as franchise QB's in the draft. Maybe a team is more likely to hang on to a franchise QB over a stud DL. So maybe a little bit easier to come by in FA. But there aren't a lot of great DL either.

We need both really. But they definitely have to fix this oline any way they can. The perfect scenario would be getting a top ranked DL in the first and having a highly rated guard fall to us in the second. Then signing / trading for a really good OG/OC also.

I know, sounds familiar, doesn't it? lol

But I definitely won't be crying if they end up with a guy like Booker in the first. I don't know if he's on par with say Quinton Nelson who was worth the high pick but our luck, our first pick will be too high to take him in the first and he'll be gone by our second.

By my quick search, I only see about 5 interior guys that are really good players and still young scheduled to hit FA. Any or all of them could be re-signed before they do.

Drew Dalman OC (26) ATL
Trey Smith RG (25) KC
Mekhi Becton RG (25) PHI
Aaron Banks LG (27) SF
Will Fries RG (26) IND

I’m not sure there is a Guard worth taking in the 1st round. We need to build the D to stop the run. Jordan Burch does that.

Right now we'd be picking 15th, and it's more likely that it'll be higher than that. You don't see many great guards going that early. Unless we think there's someone who can be the next Chris Lindstrom, I hope we pass. I don't want a guard just to draft one and risk missing out on a better talent.

I respectfully disagree, we shall pick in the 20s, unless we trade up.

We shall win 5 of the reminding 8 games, wildcard!
I love your optimism. I just don’t see it. I think we maybe win 2 games the rest of the way. Jets and 1 cardinals game. I think we end up picking around 11th

If we are picking at #15 our best option, as of today, are OG, ILB, S, TE, and maybe OC. The top-2 defensive lineman will be off the board, the rest of the defensive lineman (DTs) are projected too high for #15.

Which Centers do you like that high? I know you said maybe. I assuming Brailsford or Logan Jones unless I’m missing someone

There does seem to be quite a few more DL overall in the top 50 or so though. Both DE and DT together. Maybe go IOL first then DL second. But right now our second pick is sitting right at 50, so probably would miss out there too.

I really like Florida OC Jake Slaughter 6'5" 308 lbs. He has good size, looks athletic when getting to the second level, keeps his head on a swivel to prevent stunts, plays fairly aggressive in the run game, and looks good in pass protection. He looks like a 2nd round prospect to me, that can rise during the season and draft process. He played well vs LSU last week.

I think we will have a lot of good options for interior offensive lineman in the first two rounds of the draft.

He really looks like the best center prospect to me, wonder why he doesn't get talked up as much as a couple of those other guys.
