It almost seems they panic when they get inside the red zone. 3rd and 3….why not continue what was working….run the darn ball!
As mentioned in another thread, that last play was SCREAMING, from the mountain tops with BULLHORNS for playaction. Yet, he emptied the back field. 🙄😔
Grubb has terrible red zone packages that bunch receivers together.

But Geno can't try those throws. Has to know better.

It's more than obvious who's the main problem. Grubb sets his players up for failure which accentuates their flaws. He has been going away from the run and ignoring play action all season

I want to like Grubb, I like his story, what he did for the Huskies...but it seems to me it's 50/50 if he's back next year.

Grubb won't be back. MM is a Harbaugh disciple. This is the furthest thing from a Harbaugh offense.

I’ve very much remained in the wait and see, Grubb deserves a full off-season, camp.

I’ve seen enough.

Its true that Geno has to know better but what happens when you constantly get shitty play calls from an incompetent OC at the red zone? If he throws it away, he is gonna get blamed either way. As much as Geno is to be blamed, I think Grubbs needs to take blame as well. Instead of helping his QB out with better play calls, he's putting everything on Geno's shoulders.

Some of you peeps are cracking me up. He’s making horrible decisions in the RZ. Throwing the ball in spots he has no business throwing.

It’s haphazard and the numbers don’t lie.

The dude wants to get paid, but he can’t stop making bad decisions. Trying to defend that is as crazy as some of those asinine throws.
