I doubt many did. This has been a foregone conclusion for a long while. I'm happy with it. More regular season games, 9 home games every year. Bring it on.Did anyone seriously think we weren't heading to an eighteen game season after the move to seventeen?
The 53 man roster is idiotic. Should be 60-70. NFLPA would be against it because the guys making $20M/yr would probably be reduced to poverty level wages of only $18M/yr. How will they feed their families?I doubt many did. This has been a foregone conclusion for a long while. I'm happy with it. More regular season games, 9 home games every year. Bring it on.
The players union will be fighting it. Or at the minimum, be trying to expand the rosters and/or crank up the salary cap. And it would be justified.
I'll take having an equal amount of home & away games.I'm likely in the minority but bring it on. I'll take 18 games that matter.
I'd rather have my gums scraped than listen to pretty much anything he has to say these days.I'd like to hear Richard Sherman's hot take on this topic.
May as well start the season in July, give every team the same break with an off week, after 9 weeks??? then finish the season before New years. Super Bowl may as well be on Dec 31 or Jan 2nd. Not a perfect proposal, but why waste summertime weather with nothing going on? Baseball is BOOOOOOooring and slow. Let Football reign. All the players should be fresh for the final weeks.Total money grab. But Im all for replacing a meaningless game with one that counts. Could water down the product even more though with increased injuries.
