Some pushy billionaire(s), knowing that owning an NFL franchise is the ultimate cash cow, are certainly pushing Rog and the good ole boy fraternity of NFL owners, to "make that lady sell."

Jody has proven she cares and knows what she's doing. I hope she holds onto the team for another decade.

Not only that, rail roading female owners out of decision making in the league fits their agenda as well, where she is not THE OWNER she is acting steward. Jerry is known not to like us, Kraft is probably another for sure.

Jody has done a great job overall, but it does have to happen at some point. It was Paul's direction, simple as.

Jody's job after this championship win (if the reports are true and they are starting the process after the game) will be to make sure the franchise is sold to a party that will keep the franchise stable, financially sound, and ensure that the organization remains the class of the league.

Always a little angst there, but it does have to happen.

Well said. Also, they have to sell the Blazers first. As usual, some people freaked out over something that has been known for a long time. The team will eventually be sold. Whoa..........edgy.
Strange timing, sure, but pretty par for the course during SB weeks. It also reeks of desperation to try to create distractions for the much better team in Seattle.

I believe the Blazers sale is done. Closes officially in March. An ownership groups headed by Tom Dundon who I believe owns the Carolina Hurricanes.

More than anything, Goodell is a politician. And as he always does, he gives another well-crafted non-answer answer that doesn't tell us anything, but allows everyone to interpret it however they want.

That media literacy training is really paying off for him.

She needs to study Mark Cuban as a lesson on how not to do that.

As Mike Macdonald would say "We Don't Care" ;-)

On another Goodell / Seahawks note...I just saw this article:
Goodell Says Seahawks Were Not Fined for Organizational Structure

Goodell and others have denied that the organization was fined $5 million for the way the team has been structured following PA's death. But where did that story even come from?

Strange. But I guess everyone's coming for the Hawks.

The rumor is that Bezos is interested and has been wanting an NFL franchise for a while now. There were rumors a couple of years ago that he was interested in the Lions but the Ford family decided not to sell.

I wonder if Jody could buy the team. Would that satisfy Paul's requirement?

According to the owners rules an estate cannot own a team unless the head of the estate owns more than 30% of it or something like that. They are trying to brush it under the rug until after the superbowl. Once this game is over the NFL will force her to sell the team.

I also think Craft leaked the sale after the Super Bowl.

The billionaire boys club pushing for the Bezos-Seahawks acquisition. I don’t necessarily see this as a bad thing. I remember Jerry Jones saying Bezos would be great for the league not to mention the Seahawk franchise
