Anyone hear any updates on George Fant?

He got rolled up on a scary play early in the game and was listed doubtful with an ankle injury.
Hopefully it's not too serious

Haven't heard yet. Might need an MRI or something.

Hated to see that.

Honestly, I haven't seen much to get excited about in regards to George Fant. His footwork has always looked terrible to me.

Pete called it a "legit" ankle sprain. When the "L" word gets used it's likely a 6-8 week thing and might need surgery.
Best case scenario is high ankle sprain without a fracture requiring 4-6 weeks.

But if Dissly stays healthy I don't see a big need for Fant as our "Jumbo" TE.

His jumbo TE status is a bonus that could reduce the number of players needed to be kept at the TE position.

For a big guy this injury had the look of 4-6 weeks which sucks.

Yes but that Saxton guy can block he did a de-cleter on one play to someone.
