Would you? Swapping two cut candidates and our own #18 for a #6 overall pick?

why though? Who's at 6 that you want? Not Sanders. I’d do our 18 and another pick to move up and get Johnson. Keep woolen and hope he plays harder as a backup

Q1) Would you trade #18 and next year's 1st for the #6 pick?
Q2) Are Smith and Woolen combined worth next year's 1st round pick?
Q3) Who would you be expecting to pick at #6? (If it's only for 1 specific player you wouldn't make this trade until the #6 pick was on the clock).

Of course not, Woolen can't or wouldn't tackle. Geno played himself into a geNO.

Honestly, why bother going to #6? This years draft isn't particularly deep for 1st Round talent. By the time you get to 6, maybe there is one or two players that you'd consider. This draft has some good depth, especially in OL for rounds 2-4. I say stay at 18 or even trade down and pick up a second 2nd Round pick.

You don't make ANY trade for the #6 pick. You make a trade for a specific player that you can choose there. So which player do you want to target at #6 that is worth trading up for?

Isn't the fact that it isn't deep for first round talent a reason to move up? All the talk about a "weak" draft is due to the QB class. There are some excellent players at other positions projected in the top 10.

Regardless, we're not moving up to #6 with just Geno and Woolen so this discussion is moot in that regard anyway.

You mean Geno, Woolen, and our 18th pick to get laughed at by the Raiders?

Woolen is a top 20 CB in this league on a rookie contract. He's not a "cut candidate".
How about Geno Woolen, our 18th for their 6th and a 3rd rounder?

Right, QBs are rated higher but Seattle should also be looking to reload a lot of their roster. Many contracts are coming up or are very expensive (team hardly has any cap) and around 26 player contracts that are up? I'd say the objective would be to gather a few more picks.

Schneider can do his trade downs, use the #6 to trade down to #10, a 2nd, and a 4th That way, we traded our #18, Geno, Woolen for #10, a 2nd and a 4th.

This trade is beyond preposterous...no way Raiders give anything in top 3 rds for any of this.

What do you mean? They don’t want a qb who takes sacks or throws picks when you need a score? And why wouldn’t they be interested in a CB who can’t tackle and takes plays off?
