Starting Sam Howell is the beginning of the tank if it happens.

Geno did exceed expectations here in Seattle. But it’s definitely time to move on and look forward to the future. I wish him well. Always rooted for that guy .

Definitely think this was a good move, however Sam Darnold is trash. Another Jet at that. At least Geno could push the ball up the field. Geno never excited me as our QB, but he sure can throw a nice pass. Darnold had one good year, then promptly came back to his roots by the end of the year. My friend is a huge Jet fan, and I use to laugh at Darnold to him all the time. Extremely limited arm that benefited by having very good weapons in Minny. Everyone complained we weren't winning a Super Bowl with Geno. You really see Sam Darnold hoisting it ?

I don’t mind trading him, but for the 92nd pick, I think again Seattle got the lower end of the deal. Most of the time I hate the compensation that schneider gets for his trades

Speaking for all the geNOs, a third was above expectation.

Getting anything for Geno is good. A 3rd? Even if it's late 3rd, I'll take it. Hell of a lot better than just releasing him and getting nothing.

Darnold had 40 touchdowns to Geno’s 16 before the last week where LA rested all their players.

How did Pete get Brady and Chip to sign off on this trade? Clearly Geno isn't a Brady type of QB and Chip passed on Geno twice during the draft in 2013 after Chip travelled to West Virginia to interview Geno.
