Tom Brady believes in Geno

I am going off the limb here but I do think Brady knows a little bit more about about the QB position then the Geno Haters on Seahawks.net
Underrated factor in Geno's prospects to improve as a Raider: Geno has a career passer rating of 116.1 in domes and he's going to a dome team.

It'll be interesting to see how he does.

Wow, people NOT complaining when he did well and complaining when he didn't? What a concept especially since message board are about 90/10 Complain/Compliment. And you think it is just a Geno thing? People often come here to vent.
LOL. You are living proof of your own point! Well spotted and carried out. Love it.

The majority of his road games are in open stadiums though, so probably won't be that much of a difference.

You shut up with your reasonable logical posts.

I also just hate when we “they better or we revolt” comments because it seems like people are almost rooting for failure.

It could fail drastically but the process is still right. You have post season success by taking chances and not being the Seattle Mariners. Why anyone would want a Mariner safe approach when we can’t win a playoff game is wild to me
It’s easier to think in dichotomies than reality, which is infinitely abstract -

Im okay with Darnold for sub $30million otherwise this makes no sense. Need to throw a Dart at the draft though too
I like Dart but he is hot or cold. Can be great one game, miss everything the next.

But Darnold on this team would be a flaming disaster.

Geno was not perfect, almost the league leader in interceptions, but under pressure he produced more than he failed. Darnold is good when things are steady, but he falls apart easily and he wilts under pressure.
Our OL was horrific, you had to expect jailbreaks, but when the line held....Geno hit home runs. When the line failed (often), Geno often escaped and found his guy anyway. Whether we use Howell or Darnold, in the rare moments our line protects well - those guys are likely going to expect failure and miss the opportunity.

That doesn't even count the games that Darnold literally just falls apart (see Viking playoff game for example, and that was WITH a good OL and WITH one of the best WR corps in the NFL).

We have an OC that can't keep a job, an OMG at QB, and what looks like no viable starting WR outside of JSN. Count in our starting RB who makes Shaun Alexander look like a bruising RB by comparison, and things don't look great. But then again, few, myself included, thought Geno would be as good as he was (except Carroll obviously).

Their oline had massive problems too. Their interior guys were terrible and their tackles were similar to ours. People keep repeating this and it’s not true.

Minnesota had a better wr room but Seattles is way above league average too.

Is Everything
Purdy is a decade younger and much, much better.
The age is reflected in the length and gtd. I'm not even a Geno fan but much, much better is a little much.

I personally wouldn't pay either what they are allegedly asking for.

Every place I looked says Vikings offensive line was rated way better than Seattle for the 2024 season.

Pff: Vikings 13th, Seahawks 29th

Pro Football Network: Vikings 9th, Seahawks 30th

NFL Lines: Vikings 15th, Seahawks 31st

Smart choice is going with Fields to field a complete team for the QOTF. Personally I prefer the taam stick with Howell.

Darnold is fools gold.
Stick with Howell??? Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Thanks for the chuckle.
