Yes, under pressure he often makes poor decisions. This is why we need quick hitters or a run game to take the pressure off him.

Most quarterbacks do. This offensive gameplan is a crock of rancid shit. This just doesn't work in the NFL.

He is dumb. That is why he slipped to the 2nd round when he has all of the physical tools.

Would love to hear what people would say if he got lit up and fumbled. Only good outcome there would've been absorbing the contact successfully.
Every other QB in the league knows they need that extra yard and doesn't slide just short. It was incredibly stupid.

He'd probably get hate for that as well but when you think about both, a huge mental error like that is way worse than coughing up the football trying to get the first.

Geno had a chance to make a first down and he slides before he gets there. Then gets sacked again. We cannot effectiively pass block. Geno has been under pressure all season. He has had to get rid of the ball really fast as a result.

Come on he couldn’t tried a little harder to get one yard there and still not get blasted. If you ask him he’d say the same thing.

Come on. We've seen a million early slides. It is far from unprecedented. It sucks, but most quarterbacks are coached not to take on linebackers who squared up with them. The reason, other than injury, is turnovers.

In an ideal world, sure. I'd like to see him go take that LB on next time to rally the offense. But this isn't an "every other QB in the league" situation. To say otherwise is just... not true.

There are much bigger problems than Geno not getting the first down there. Him getting that first and getting hurt would be the worst thing. The rest of the team sucks ass to make that first down worth getting.

That have probably ended up with the Giants having the ball in a similar spot as the TO on downs.

So I'd prefer he puts his shoulder down or dives or whatever he needs to do to they the 1st.

When you are down a TD in the 4th quarter? No, no other QB in the league slides a yard short there when they can easily get the first down.

If he just falls forward there he probably has the 1st. He doesn't need to go full on Beast Mode trying to stiff arm LBs.
