How has JS showed that he doesn't love Geno? He signed him to a 3-year deal, he didn't have to do that.
Geno will be in a BETTER situation under Kubiak than he had with his other coordinators, if he's still here.

If I remember correctly, it was a contract that provided no guaranteed money, a contract that the team could cut him anytime, and some may say, it was a contract somewhat below market. Geno and his agent felt that way, therefore, they have been petitioning for an extension for more than a year. Geno even went on Sherm's show, together, they begged for an extension.

As far as OC goes, Chip has a more robust resume than Kubiak, just my humble opinion.

He was a free agent and NOBODY SIGNED GENO! How can you possibly argue it was below market value???
That makes no sense.
Your Geno has been mistreated by JS shtick is silly and just plain factually wrong.
Geno should be grateful for JS as he kept his career alive when he had bombed out twice.

I hope there is an easy out if they sign Geno to an extension. Not exactly a fan of us tying ourselves to him long term.

No it really isn't. Mike Macdonald is though. If he strikes out I could see JS possibly being let go.

Agree. Geno has very little bearing on JS. MM does for sure. The O line toa lesser extent. If JS went out and signed Geno to a 10-year $60 mil/year contract then yes but that will never happen.

Cut Geno already!!!

Geno Smith would have been cut or released until the Raiders signed Pete Carroll! John Schneider, knowing how much Carroll loved Geno, stopped the release process to have fun with one Pete Carroll.

If that actually happens then they obviously don't care about winning superbowls. Gross.

I'm very glad they moved on from Pete. He deserves a tip of the cap for how classy he has been in that whole thing. He graciously backed away and stayed in his lane. Not all guys would have done that, imo.
They would if they were still on contract, which he was. I love Pete too and all he did here…but let’s be clear he made more than most of us will in a lifetime in the last year, doing nothing
