Frank is 63 yo, he has been around for years and is not likely to be inventing new killa XO systems. Frank also had success over the years, with many top 10 offenses with him as OC. Frank's age means that he is very unlikely to receive HC offers so he will stay for the next 5 years.

I think he's a solid dude but I have doubts he'd be the right guy for the job. Being a former QB I doubt he has a "run first" kind of philosophy.

One has to look at the Colts, I think they ran plenty under him but I don't know
if I'd want him.

If anything, being a former QB should mean he knows the importance of a good running game to take pressure off the passer. He was probably very thankful to have Thurman Thomas all those years.

Solid point, I don't disagree. I just don't know what his philosophy is, anyone else watch many of his teams when he was coaching who'd have some insight?

Nah, I just feel confused if I don't use the word young around Mr. Toffee.
Frank Reich is way younger than old toffee, lol. With a coach like Frank Reich, you get what you pay for, no upside. With a young unknown like Waldron or Hank Fraley, one could hope and dream. After a bad game, one could chant he is learning just needs more time.

Young ones always fire up the fan base.

I think Frank could be good. He was IMO more the reason for Pilly's success than Pederson. He is great with QBs and dont remember him being pass-happy.

I wish we knew the names of the people who interviewed that haven't leaked. Brady said there are a couple of names but he didn't know who.

I know, it's killing me. The Hawks always keep it close to the vest.

I am warming up to Frank Reich, he checks all the boxes except one. He is not young, maybe set in his ways, and does not provide "hope" as those young up-and-comers could.
I'll defer to Schlereth on that. If he's a good commincater age doesn't mean Jack. Pete proved that
