YEP. Which is a BIG one of the many reasons I want THIS TEAM to win a Super Bowl together THIS YEAR.

Yeah, we'll likely lose some serious talent to free agency next year. :(

It sucks but I, for one, embrace it. Good teams need to win through the draft.

I can assure everyone Earl Thomas and Russell Wilson aren't going anywhere if money has anything to do with it. We will do everything we can to keep them.

Sherman is much more expendable than everyone believes - he is good but CB is actually a pretty plug and play position for us. It is how a 5th round draft pick and a CFL all-star became pro bowlers.

I am acutally more down about our defensive line than anything else. It will suffer the most from our eventual signings as finding d-line talent for cheap is the most difficult task in football for a GM.

I don't see Sherm as a plug-and-play at all. Dude takes out a side of the field. Browner has to play well because he gets picked on a lot. I think we see a much more significant hit without Sherman than you are giving him credit for. Think of it from a gameplanning perspective. Corner, maybe not as much in our system as others, but still has a ridiculous more value to a defense than a safety, all things equal.

Hard to find guys with their body types that can play both the bully and the mental assassin in the league as well as back it up. Sherman is very smart and his edge is his brain. Not the best technique CB but he makes up for it with brains and his body length and wingspan. Browner is just a intimidator, he plays smart as well and is filling the roll other teams only can dream of against big receivers. Someone more physical and as big as they are.

Take away earl and browner become much less effictive. Take away sherman and it changes nothing for ET. I think we keep both and let lbs or dl hit FA

This is the biggest undersell of Sherman I've ever read. We absolutely cannot afford to lose him. We'll lose some talent after this year, but not as much as a lot of people think.
