Anyway, Eagles fans be the coolest.

They loved me up. That was my second game with them - I was at their blizzard bowl the year before. LOVED IT!!!!!

I wish Rams fans in the midwest place of St. Louis were as cool as Philly fans. I would looove going to Rams games if they were.

Glad you had a great experience. Can't help but wonder if you being female played into that? I can't imagine them protecting me. I'm glad they showed class in that manner. I've heard stories of the opposite, you know. :)

I'm sure me being female did help.

I will say this for St. Louis. When I get to the game, I am always next to the same family. They own all the seats in the area I buy my seats. And, they are absolutely the sweetest fans in the world, bar none. I've seen so many games with them, that if the Rams move, I will feel very sad that they don't have their normal seats. They are famous for something in St. Louis, as every time we are on camera.

I'm on nfl.com because of them, and they met my boyfriend last time i went to a game there - it was funny because normally I go alone but I made him come last time.

See, I adore many things about St. Louis.

You and I have had previous issues.

I am very impressed by your seeming new found desire to look at the Rams and other teams as a discussion point for this season - I like it. It makes the season more enjoyable, in my opinion, to enjoy it and discuss it with many fans. I'm happy to have you here for that. Very.

Cheers to the NFC West! :thirishdrinkers:

@Maulbert. Yes! That game.

It was my birthday weekend and my very first Eagles game. It was also my very first East Coast game and my first (only) snow game.

It was awesome!

I wanted to see an East Coast game so that is what I requested for my bday. It looked like it was going to snow at the Colts game that morning, but it was not predicted to snow in Phllly as we left for the train. It was just looking cold.

Snow started during the tailgate and never let up. We played some tree stump knife game while it was snowing, then watchd a band a bit and then went inside to game. Had Club Level, so took turns going inside to get vodkas and warm up for a few minutes, but we stood outside and were snowed on the whole game. Was so fun.

The game shifted second half when the snow stopped falling so hard and McCoy could play hero.

Foles might be happy to be in a dome for this season.

Watching the Rams-Rayduhs game right now. Foles looked decent to start the game, and the screen to Austin was holy crap amazing. Most of that was Austin, though. Flat out schooled a whole preschool class full of Rayduhs players. I'll edit with with more comments as I see more in the game.

Update: It was midway into the first quarter before I even noticed the Rayduhs' color commentator was a woman. Sounds like any other commentator, really. Knows her stuff. And in an interview, Jerry Rice just compared rookie Amare Cooper to Hall of Famer Tim Brown. Nice going, Jerry. Way to set those expectations sky high right up front.

Update: Foles just held onto the ball too long and got sacked. It didn't count because of penalties. And then he did it again in almost exactly the same play. Unlike Russell Wilson, however, backwards seemed to be his only direction of escape.

Update: After that outrageous flattery by Jerry Rice, Cooper ran the wrong route and caused Carr to throw it right into the hands of a player with the wrong jersey on. Maybe ol' Jer meant "like Brown as he'd play today".

Update: So Christian Ponder handing off to Trent Richardson against backup Rams players is a thing.

Update: Aaaaaaand Foles has exited the game. As have most of the starters for both teams. As has my interest.

Looks like Cignetti puts blockers out front of TA. About time. TA in open space is always fun to watch. :th2thumbs:
