I just realized if the 9ers beat the Eagles today, they would be coming to Seattle instead of the Rams. I thought once the Rams beat the Panthers and Packers lost, it was automatically over...Rams coming to Seattle.

Apparently not.

So far, the games have not worked in our favor. I don't expect that trend to change. Eagles will beat the 9ers. Too bad because I really wanted the Rams in the NFCCG, not the divisional.

Either way, nobody is beating us in our house over the next two weeks.

I honestly don't care who we face next weekend. If we want to be the best, we have to beat the best. So why wish for a weaker opponent? Are we not confident that we can beat anybody? If we aren't, then we don't deserve the championship.

Additionally, beating the best at their peak removes excuses, the qualifiers naysayers like to add to diminish a team's accomplishments. When we were in SB 49 and the Deflate Gate scandal had broke, I absolutely did not want them to suspend Tom Brady because had we won with him not playing, people forever would have been saying "Yeah, but..." for the rest of our lives.

So, I don't care. Give me your best shot!

It took a few fortunate circumstances to even come back and win the 2nd meeting.

I’ll be rooting for the 9ers not because I want the weaker team, but because I want to erase any doubt that the NFC West is the best division in football. The Seahawks, Rams, and 49ers each hung two losses on each other while the rest of the league only managed to add 1-2 more.

Still, the East-based media keep trying to sell the Patriots, Eagles, and Bears as equals. They are not. The Broncos are the only non-NFC West team that I think has a chance, and that’s because they’re built a lot like us.

Matt Lafleur showed he’s not one of the elites. His offense completely shit the bed in the second half, particularly the third quarter. And he calls the plays.
