Yep. The fin Eagles are definitely beating SF then the Bears. They are already in the NFCCG. Mark my words. If we want to get to the big dance, we're gonna need to beat LA and Philly. Of course Seattle has to do it the hard way.
Well, Seattle has no control over who they play next week. They're not doing anything the hard way. They have no control over who we play next week. The OTHER NFC teams are the ones who determine who we play. Not sure how the Hawks contributed to "the hard way"

I was really hoping for the packers because I wanted rams and philly to play each other (which i think Philly wins). Then we hope hurtts comes out flat against us. Instead I knew this was going to be rams, bears and eagles this weekend. Bears are a freebie to nfccg.

I have friends down there who are eagles fans. Losing to the eagles in the nfccg would be almost as bad for me as Giants since im surrounded by giants fans. But those eagles fans down there are low lives.

Wanting the rams is crazy next weekend. Yes we can beat them, but they are by far the toughest path toward the Conferece Championship we could face. But to be the best, gotta beat the best.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
Postseason is generally a test of who wants it more and will let their nuts hang. I have faith in this thing of ours that JS/MM put together. I didn't even see us winning 14 games in a season with a squad full of youngsters and a 2nd year coach (youngster himself), yet here we are. It's now time to DISPLAY to the planet why it's not a fluke, lucky schedule, etc. We got some certified DAWGS with insane egos and pride. If we get beat then it AIN'T because "the Packers and Panthers are scabs that didn't do us any favors". We win/lose on our own merits at this juncture.

GO HAWKS!!! 💪🏿

I’d rather beat the Rams again. I don’t want a “Hawks dodged a bullet” narrative. If they are the best in the NFC then leave no doubt. Sends a message the division is ours for the foreseeable future and not a fluke.

Fair point but I don't want us to lose.

We've come TOO FAR and accomplished too much to just go one-and-done just like that.

AND having to potentially hear "Sam Darnold can't win in the playoffs. He's a Regular Season QB. DERP DERP DERP!" by the media again will make me hit someone.

F--- THAT!

I hope the Hawks give Stafford the "Purdy" treatment next week.

Find a way.....WIN THE DAMN GAME!!

1-POINT WIN....100 POINT WIN, I DON'T CARE!

WIN, DAMMIT!

I want the Rams then the Eagles. Beat the shit out of both of them. Treat them like Indiana did Alabama and the Ducks. We’re ready, at full strength. With Riley and Arroyo, we are loaded for bear. This will be a team you will always remember.

Is Riley going to get more Playing Time?

I understand the concern. But, we’re the big dawgs in the kennel.

I can imagine other teams fans saying “oh shit, we don’t want to play Seattle..in Seattle..after their bye week”.

This team is ready. They’re striking fear into others. Not the other way around.

Rams…Niners…Eagles…whoever it is, they’ve got to come face the #1 seed.

Meh. They aren't striking fear in the Rams.

That team is already playoff-battle-tested.

I'm sure they're thinking "They have Sam Darnold. He will choke like always. It's only a matter of time. He sees ghosts. Hurr hurr! We got this 🤪".

We already know the Defense will bring it.

But as far as our offense?

Our running game needs to dominate.

And I mean DOMINATE in this game.

Dominate to the point where we score TDs (not field goals) and chew up a ton of the game clock keeping Stafford off the field.

Dominate to the point where Sam does not have to throw the ball often against Shula's tricky defense.

THAT is how we win this game.

I know good and well this ain't Glenwo, aka Sam's most ardent and seemingly omnipresent defender getting cold feet and shook about Sam Darnold before the big dance? Am I seeing this right? I swear I just left a thread where you were arguing with @keasley45 for pretty much having the same trepidations and concerns. 😂

Every other team in the the NFC having to play Seattle has it hard. Seattle is THE top dog right now, all others are looking up. SC is garbage, LA is trying to prove they're not posers (they are), and the Eagles are owned by Seattle.

Please don't @ him.

His recent "lecture" pissed me off and I have no desire to see his pontifications.

As for getting cold feet? I'm just frustrated at how close we came to :

1.) Having the Rams removed from the Playoff picture altogether

2.) At least playing the Packers in the first round (a team that Darnold had SWEPT last season with the Vikings)

Now everything falls down to once again.....ONE GAME. At least if it was the Packers, Sam could get his feet under him and win his first playoff game to get that monkey off his back. Instead, he'll have to face a team that he threw 6 INTs against in two games.

Excuse me while I go punch a wall. (gently....lol)

I just realized if the 9ers beat the Eagles today, they would be coming to Seattle instead of the Rams. I thought once the Rams beat the Panthers and Packers lost, it was automatically over...Rams coming to Seattle.

Apparently not.

So far, the games have not worked in our favor. I don't expect that trend to change. Eagles will beat the 9ers. Too bad because I really wanted the Rams in the NFCCG, not the divisional.

Either way, nobody is beating us in our house over the next two weeks.

BRING IT!

While the outcomes weren't what I wanted to see, at least Saturday's games served as a good reminder that if you're behind on the scoreboard and there's still a few minutes on the clock... you know.
