6 catches for 78 yards with a TD no one else is even close. There crazy if they don't put him on the roster. They can't let Arizona or SF get there hands on him.

Him and Ursua have been easily the best receivers behind the starters. Ferguson looks incredibly fluid too for being 6’5 225ish

Don't be surprised if Ferguson stays and Moore goes to make room. Ferguson looks better than Metcalf at this point . Carroll will have to give Ferguson a good amount of targets though . I worry that Metcalf will get the spotlight simply because of the hype around him ; and Ferguson watches from the sidelines.

Metcalf is having surgery and Carroll says he will be out the rest of pre-season . That will give Ferguson the chance to make his case for a roster spot .

Way too much stock being put into preseason numbers. Jazz was a a UDFA for a reason and it wasn't athletic talent. So whether he makes the team is going to come down to his work in the receivers room and on the practice field. We don't keep slackers on this team no matter their skills. We do give second chances so if Jazz is working hard behind the scenes, he'll have a good chance to stick around.

Ursua is the guy I'm really fired up to keep. No red flags and balls out no matter the occasion.

Jennings seems most expendable having no remarkable abilities I can see that put him ahead of Brown, Moore and anyone else for that matter.

Jazz has the size, Ursua has the routes, Metcalf has the speed. What does Jennings have?

The way you become a pre-season cumulative stat leader is by playing a ton in the pre-season.

Playing a ton in the pre-season means you're not a big part of your team's long-term plans.

It's why the most common outcome for a pre-season stat leader is being a back-of-the-roster guy, and the second most common outcome is getting cut.

I personally would be shocked if he makes the team.
Perfect practice squad candidate though.

No doubt he would be. However, the consensus is that he doesn’t make it there without being picked up by another team. Considering his size, athleticism, and now, his preseason stats, I would have to agree. If you want him, someone will have to go. Pete and John have the chance to evaluate him day in and day out against our “ones”. We just see him sporadically against a lot of preseason talent. I love watching him, but understand that if he’s cut, it will be from based on the totality of his performance we just didn’t have a chance to see. He’ll get picked up by the Rams for that same reason, they were the other team that invited him to sign as an UDFA.

Ursua will be the Hawks version of Wes Welker . They have to keep him . IMO

Jennings hasn't had anywhere near the opportunities that Ferguson has.

I'm hoping that he'll start in the slot against the Chargers on Saturday so Russ will be throwing the ball to him. I still have high hopes for Jennings.

For those that dismiss the preseason, Russell Wilson, by his own admission, may never have become the starting QB without the preseason.

He has a better chance of making it to the PS than Ursua or Jennings. According to JS, there were seven other teams lined up to grab Ursua in the last round.

Jazz has shown a couple of tics more than Keenan Reynolds did last year. He needs to prove special teams value, route versatility, and consistent play against better CB talent before he's considered a lock. I like him. But I liked Keenan, too.

I'm not sure this means anything. Ferguson also leads the team in targets and drops.

I don't think people are dismissing the preseason, but as one of our resident Miners fans pointed out, looking at stat totals in preseason just means the player played more. Who is the leading rusher? Tackler? Are those people likely to make the team?

I think it means what a lot of us think.

High ceiling. Low floor.

If we keep him, I hope for the former .

Anyone else...not so much

who leads the Seahawks in preseason in passing yards and touchdowns?

Who leads the Seahawks in preseason in rushing yards and touchdowns?

Who leads the Seahawks in preseason in total tackles?

That being said it was quite apparent that Russ was going to be the guy from his practice and classroom work, not just his splashy performances in the games. The games merely showed the translation or his work ethic and practice discipline into game performance. That and Matt Flynn got tennis elbow.

Splashing in games only works in your favor if you do the other little things right.
