Confidence. These guys always, ALWAYS believe they are going to win. Down 21-0 to Tampa Bay? No biggie. Trailing 10-0 in the NFC Championship Game? Piece of cake. This team knows that they can beat anybody. And more often than not they are right. I've never seen a Seahawks team that believed in itself this much.

Physical and mental toughness on the defense and in the running game.

Opposing offensive players fear our defense

Opposing defenses get beat up and know that at any moment we could strike and knock the wind out of their sails.

A long run just when they thought they had us in 3rd and long, the tippy toe pass reception on the Sidelines when they believed they had us well covered, that ability of our players to vaporize from within their grasp when they were sure the play was over.

The way we stick a fork in them just when they thought they had a chance. And like Sherman likes to say, "We eat they heart!"

Under previous regimes if we got a big lead, we would then instantly switch to a ball control, eat the clock offense, and end up hanging on by the skin of our teeth ( or losing).
Now we step on their necks not on the brakes. Killer instinct!

Intangible?
It's thee 12th man.
I love being a SEAHAWK fan.
And yes I consider us as one one immeasurable aspects of the team.
This is not because of the recent success but because of the journey in its entirety to this point.
Been many more lean years than fat but I've loved every one of them.
Everybody here on .net has added to my love of being a 12. :{)

Edit:not being the punks of the NFL is cool too.

On the field, they change players as necessary for packages. But in the stands and around the globe, 12s are united in their fandom. Ya...that is one intangible. In the Superb Owl, they felt that intangible like no other.

Oh....and not being the punks of the NFL....we still are. That is how we keep a chip on our shoulder. :mrgreen:

I meant punks as in, being thought of as an automatic win, by other teams.

We now know that every team on our schedule is going to give the Super Bowl Champ their best "shot"!
They are all focusing their game with us...we are "in their heads"!
