Spotting an opponent a whole first half isn’t going to win you many games. Crap gameplanning put this team behind the 8-ball before the game started. That doesn’t excuse poor execution and play on the field.

It's the third or so time this season they've done it. There should be enough brains on the Seattle coaching staff that they know what I, a fan who researchers stats in his free time, knows. Our team does not have a successful run game because we 'run the ball down the throats' of the other team. We have a successful run game because we have Geno pick apart the defense until they spread out and then K9 cuts them up with the space.

Instead, this game, we have multiple consecutive rush plays. What's our first play immediately after Tampa scores their first TD? An inside handoff. It's bad enough how much we tried to force the running game but we weren't even CREATIVE when we did it. No cutbacks, very little outside, no sweeps... just try rushing K9 up the middle until we are behind the sticks and then K9 whiffs his protection assignment when TB blitzes on third and long.

Then repeat.

For an entire half.
