The play of the Defense has the look of a contender. The other facets can do it, too. They have the talent. Just need better execution.

Go Hawks

35-9 after Nov. 1st since Russ took over as QB. Not sure how thinking they will finish strong is "rose colored glasses"

So be it, I'll take a positive view over the "assume the worst" every day of the week.

working on climbing back up

The fact that we have a super bowl contending team doesn't change the facts that there are a few things VERY irritating about how we are playing and the build up (or lack thereof) for the OL. In fact having a super bowl contending team and dealing with those stupidities probably makes it worse.....

On the ledge ? No.

I will say after that Saints game (that we should've won) that my hopes for the season are mostly gone. I'm more apathetic now than I was.

Think about it. After Buffalo (which we honestly might not win....we've had problems stopping the run recently), we face the Patriots and Eagles. Anyone think we're winning those 2 games after what we've seen from this offense ? So, say we beat Buffalo and we're 5-2-1. Then we lose both of those games. I'm supposed to feel rosy about a 5-4-1 team almost 3/4 of the way into the season ?

The reason there's no ledge is that since I'm not as emotionally invested, I can do things I need to do, like family time if my kids want to do something besides watch the game.

I was never on the ledge, but I've been quiet here since Sunday because of the Negative Nancys around here who are making us out like the Cleveland Browns. I always back our guys, and we'll be back in the playoffs again this year, and all we need is a shot. :irishdrinkers:

I was never on the ledge. We don't have our starting running back, our QB is banged up, and our O-line is still finding it's way. We lost a close game on the road, yet are still firmly #1 in our division.

I'm going to make a bold prediction...Seattle wins the next 3 games.

Because we're still winning the Super Bowl and I'd hate for a lot of you to not partake in said celebration because of an annoying loss to the Saints.

:2thumbs:

Couldn't agree more!

Love the people claiming they are done with the NFL but are still interested enough to visit a Seahawks forum and talk about football.
One can support the Hawks and not support the NFL. If the NFL died of self implosion and the Hawks joined the CFL or another league I'd be just as big of fan.

Depends what 'off the ledge' is intended to mean.

If it means 'off the Seahawks bandwagon' (as in, no longer an interested fan come what may) then: Hell No!

Never was, never will be. Negative Nancy's are the ones who assume the worst. Next
This team is in first place by a game and a half, and has a ridiculous record after Nov. 1 the last 4 or 5 seasons.
So what is a Negative Nancy? People who don't look through rose colored glasses and see what is really going on with this team? Call me a NN then. I am not assuming the worst. I would love to be wrong but I see that his beat up team is so much less than even last season. Do they have a chance? Of course they do, only because they are still in it thanks to the defense. That is the best I can offer. I have not had this feeling since 2011.

Your playing both extremes. We are going to be above .500 at mid season. How did you feel mid way through the 2014, 2015 seasons? We had to dig out of pretty big holes those years. Giving our current injury situation I think we are in a pretty good situation.

Off the ledge, and I never post a reply on here but here goes. Why hasn't the team signed a QB to allow RW to rest and heal? He may never be mobile this year because of his knee, and all because of the push to keep him in the lineup. There is the possibility that he may lose his quickness permanently, as that knew may be much worse than is being let on. I just see him being a stationary target, next stop concussions and another injury. He flat out moves like Dan Marino after achilles tears.

Without Bennet and Kam? Good luck with that.

I'm not on the ledge, I just don't want this putrid offense ruining our chances at another SB with how amazing the defense is right now.

This isn't 1993 when you can win a SB with your offense scoring 15 pts a game and a great defense.

Injuries suck, but we gotta figure out how to compensate and start putting up points, can't just hope Russell and Rawls get back to 100% and the line stops stinking.

Got the winning Powerball numbers for next weeks drawing? I'll swing a cool 5 million your way if your numbers net me the top jackpot. 8)

Lol my predictions are wrong most of the time. Gotta promote the times I'm correct so that people think I'm a god or something.

All of my friends and co-workers who are fans were panicking during 2014 and 2015. I've gotten used to it. I just tell them, "so long as Bevell doesn't blank it up, we've got a chance." Of course, they suffer openly and often. I'm probably more scarred from what has transpired the past two seasons.
