Because we're still winning the Super Bowl and I'd hate for a lot of you to not partake in said celebration because of an annoying loss to the Saints.

I'm just done giving the NFL viewership or buy their products.

The ledge is about 60 ft above many they already jumped. I am hoping that Wilson heals up and we go on another 2nd half tear that makes the nfl fear whats coming.

Was never "on the ledge" here.

Hey, we lost. I feel bad about that, and yeah there are some problems with the team. I'm still a fan.

I am no where near the ledge. I was under water. After all, New Orleans is under the waterline. I am back above water now tho...I am home. LOL

Can someone point me to the post that may have the steal for a touchdown in the first quarter? I was at the game and recorded the game on dvd recorder but they start seeing the game at about 11 mins left in the second freaking quarter.

I love the nfl ilovethenfl....#ilovethenfl. If I keep saying it, I may believe it some day.

Pretty much this. Just growing increasingly irritated by a recurring problem.

When will we ever learn that the course of a Seahawks season never goes as planned? Even 2013 wasn't without some bumps in the road, although not many. :D

Still think the officiating is making the game hard to watch.

No disagreement there. That and the 1500 commercials per alternating drive.

Wow...they cut down for the New Orleans game. That must be why I went to the game.

Couldn't agree more!

Love the people claiming they are done with the NFL but are still interested enough to visit a Seahawks forum and talk about football.

Nope, still looking out over the chasm. It's not the loss of this weeks game that bothers me. It's the loss of the game itself. With all the subjective calls, that are not called consistently, the outcome of the game is overly influenced by referees. And over the last few years their has been an increase in the number of penalties called on all teams. Add in that you can get a flag for hugging a ref and it's getting ridiculous.

Because there is so much discussion about the NFL having an anti Seahawk agenda I feel the need to clarify I am not in that camp. I don't believe they are manipulating games on purpose. I think that due to the overly complicated rule book and the lack of training for Ref's, it's simply out of control.

I would agree and disagree. At this point I think it is at least as likely as not that the NFL is intentionally attempting to manipulate games. I do not believe the motivation in this case would be an anti-Seahawk agenda but rather a pro-revenue agenda.

Like many other big businesses, for the NFL profit has become the product rather than letting the product generate the profit.

Never was, never will be. Negative Nancy's are the ones who assume the worst. Next
This team is in first place by a game and a half, and has a ridiculous record after Nov. 1 the last 4 or 5 seasons.

I was upset after the loss but who doesn't feel at least a bit down after a loss. Add in that we were one catch away from winning and the biased officiating and that comes down to plenty of negativity.

However, we're still first place in the division so no need to worry yet.

I know a lot of you guys have seen a lot lot worse with the Seahawks than I have (been a fan since Ericksons last season in '98.)

These are the seahawks golden years, and this is the greatest seahawks core of a team we've ever had.

If being 4-2-1 and predictably losing a 10 am road game makes you jump off the ledge, then idk what to tell you.
This team is far from done. We're in the middle of something special here

I don't think it's a matter of not thinking the Seahawks will make the playoffs or anything like that. I'm just done with the NFL as a corporation, what we saw last Sunday is inexcusable when it comes to the blatantly obvious one sided (non) officiating. But if you are okay with sticking your head in the sand and keep watching this terrible product that's being put out, so be it. I can count 4 Seahawks games already this year where the refs were driving me crazy, terrible
Calls and non-calls. I'm not having a lot of fun watching the games, they are frustrating commercial filled flag fests. Why am I wasting my time being annoyed and frustrated? I'll still read up on here, I still like the Hawks, but have a lot of disdain for the NFL and how they are conducting their business.

So what is a Negative Nancy? People who don't look through rose colored glasses and see what is really going on with this team? Call me a NN then. I am not assuming the worst. I would love to be wrong but I see that his beat up team is so much less than even last season. Do they have a chance? Of course they do, only because they are still in it thanks to the defense. That is the best I can offer. I have not had this feeling since 2011.

The NFC is still up for grabs with a lot of football left to be played. It would be wonderful to see some things get fixed and injuries heal up so the Hawks can compete without one hand tied behind their backs. Injuries are part of every season, but sometimes they really impact team capability more and prevent a potential championship run.

The Patriots are playing at an unbeatable level right now. We'll see if they can sustain that or if a team like the Raiders will have something to say in the AFC.
