Our D was terrible. Draft well. Sign a bunch of guys that were cut. Promote from within. Use some round 3-6 picks to trade for a couple guys if you know your gonna get comp picks. There’s also gonna be guys available to sign after the comp pick deadline passes like what we did with Ansah last year.

I’d sign Griffin if there’s no comp pick implications

The real question is this: Does Everson Griffen even want to play football anymore? The guy delt with a major depressive even in 2018, he has been in the NFL for 10 years now.

The one major factor in the Seahawks favor is the fact he played for Pete at USC. so he might show up for one season to see if he still loves the game.

He had 8 sacks last year. I think hes motivated to play.

Objective reality would differ from your last comment. The team has had a beter than average return of talent from the draft.

When you are always picking in the last quarter of the 1st round the choices thin out.

Griffen would count as a UFA in comp calculations.
