He asked for the release. Thoughts on bringing him home?

Only if there was an injury to someone. I'd much rather those reps go to our young WR's. He's one of my all-time favorite Seahawks, but that ship has sailed.
I'm with ya. This is a heart/head scenario. Luv me some Lockett, but it'd probably be detrimental overall to the young WR's. Maybe/maybe not in an injury situation.

I dunno, I feel like with Kupp and JSN, Lockett would fit right in with his route running but the question is at what cost?

Who are you cutting for him? Young is much more valuable given that he plays special teams and plays them very well. I don't think anyone wants to release Bobo, and I really don't think we need a sixth receiver rostered. He looked BAD with the Titans too, and not just because their roster is trash, he looked bad compared to their other bad receivers.

If there's a rash of injuries later in the year, yeah why not, but I don't see why this would even be a consideration right now.

I absolutely LOVE Tyler Lockett and would have been extremely happy to keep him around this season but that didn’t happen. Our qb is new and he’s been building a rapport with the guys we have. If he wanted to sit on the practice squad I’m case we had an injury I’d be ok with it but I think I’d rather he go see what he can do on a different contender if continuing his career is what he wants to do. I know Evans is out for 2 months in Tampa so maybe that would be an option for him

Don't think he's a great fit for this offense TBH. Rather see Dareke Young or Cody White step up and get more opportunities.

Cool of Tennessee to do him a solid. He's one of the classiest players in the history of the NFL. Hope he ends up on a contender (not in our division)

If it were me, I'd cut Cody White. Lockett should be back to improved form with a better QB throwing to him than he had the past couple of years.

Agree, he isn't a fit. Now the Raiders on the other hand...

Speaking of Dareke Young, I heard he suffered a hip injury of some sort, right?

Did he? I dunno. He's been solid on teams though, and flashed on some deep passes.

With all respect to Lockett, I'm leaning towards whats the point?
The team seems to be gelling enough that adding someone from last year would feel like a step backwards

Isn't he on the practice squad now? I wouldn't mind having Lockett there, but I doubt that's what he's looking for.
Ahh...yes he is. I thought he was still on the roster. Well they just released Eric Saubert so there is an open spot on the roster currently.
