Keep him, would be nice to have a OC create schemes to get him open regularly, he is a great talent, we need him to be motivated and know that he is a important part of this offense. Again, go back to the O line, DK's game is deep and mid-range passing game, longer developing plays, what happens when no protection of play action? Those plays don't happen and he loses his ability to have time to get off the top of his route, the guy is a tilt the field player when used to his strength, but you have to be able to use him.

If you are ever gonna trade DK, now would be the time. He’s 28 and this years draft is not as rich as last year for WR. A fringe playoff team or playoff regular looking to upgrade at the position could be tempted.

That being said, the asking price has to be at least a 1st Rounder and I don’t think Seattle would settle for less.

Yeah it’s a sellers market on WR. Maybe Pete will get the gig at LV and send us the 6th overall for him. 🤣

As funny as that’d be, I think Pete would rather trade for Geno.

DK ain’t gonna net a top 10 pick. Maybe 22-32 at best. He’s got upsides but he hasn’t been a game changing difference maker thus far in his career, he’s above average.

For sure. I was just making a Pete joke about trades

This team is not set up to win right now and DK is probably at the tail end of his prime right now. It makes sense for both the org and DK to go separate ways. Seahawks can get more of what they need to make an overall stronger team, and DK can jump to a team that's ready to contend and just need someone like him on the roster and will utilize him more too.

THIS is the type of thing that drives me insane. He had ONE personal foul called on him THE ENTIRE SEASON.
ONE.

That ONE became basically he's a team cancer, he's killing the team, he sucks, he cost us games blah blah blah blah.
A guy who plays that aggressive had all of 5 TOTAL PENALTIES the entire season? And that tips the scales? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

DK is one of the most productive receivers through age 27 in NFL history. You trade someone like that, and you end up chasing that kind of offensive weapon and difference maker hoping to find one again; if you want high end WRs you're going to have to pay market value. If they don't see that worthy of spending on, I disagree, but I understand.

I like DK because his "give a shit" metre is high and runs hot, even if he doesn't always channel it in the best ways.

I really want to see what he and Geno will do one day if they ever get to be with a quality OC (even just a mediocre level OC rather than Waldron/Grubb level) and an average offensive line.

I'm not of the belief in trading good sub-30 players just because the team isn't competing for Super Bowls yet. For example, look at the records of the teams Mike Evans and Terry McLaurin played for up until their teams got good; they didn't trade them just because they were down, they understood that they would be of value to have around for the next time that they were good.

Too early to speculate without even having an OC in house. Makes no sense.
Yeah, I understand his cap hit is an issue but it seems a bit like putting the cart before the horse to be talking about trading DK or whoever when we don't even have an offensive coordinator.

People exaggerate the hell out of any minor issue with him for some reason. I was about ready to slam my head repeatedly into the wall earlier when I saw on a facebook group somebody - yet again - ripping on DK for his "fumbling problem". Yes, he did fumble in back-to-back games in weeks 4 & 5. Not only did he not fumble in a single game since then, but even BEFORE that first fumble, which happened on 09/30/24, his most recent fumble had been on 10/09/22. So just ten days short of going two full calendar years without a single fumble, but somehow he has a fumbling problem. I swear if it was anyone else, nobody would have been pretending it was somehow a chronic issue.

It doesn't make sense that so many fans have such a vehement dislike of DK, given that he's highly-productive, and a genuinely good guy during the age of the diva wideout. I think his physique and physical gifts delude people into believing that he's supposed to be Megatron, like Megatrons just grow on trees or something.

We're much better with him. I would need some team to make a godfather offer to even consider moving him. Actively shopping him would be horribly misguided.
