A new dawn coming with Sam Howell and JSN; no Geno and no DK.

According to ESPN's offseason predictions, the Seahawks will no longer have Metcalf's services beyond this season. JSN and, maybe, Lockett will have to find their own way. Instead, Metcalf will be dressed in a Los Angeles Chargers uniform next season and help head coach Jim Harbaugh win a lot of games.

I’m all for it if you’re included in the trade package.

It also says they will draft an offensive lineman in the middle rounds…. I want a Quenton Nelson damn it. Enough of the middle round shenanigans.

What are the Chargers going to give us? Besides us not having to pay $30+ million a year for a good receiver?

ESPN has become so difficult to take seriously anymore. I know they need something to talk about so it's all clickbait. I can see it 70-30. We most likely keep DK but I think there's a chance we can move on from him. Not sure this is the draft to do it though. I think an extension is the most likely scenario here

This is actually not entirely out of the realm of possibilities that Schneider is contemplating.

A new OC is coming in, and I’m sure, the OC has got to be wondering what he could do with DK. It’s either going to be great for this new OC or his DK plans will be totally scrapped.

Lol.

It's for clicks, and it worked :)

It's def. a subject worth talking about though. A ton of huge decisions this off season.

DK, TYLER, GENO, NWUSU, REED, free agency, new OC etc.

The Seahawks have a 1 year option on Metcalf at $18M. They can extend him, trade him, or let things play out and risk losing him as a FA in 2026. The 2025 WR tag is projected to be $25.7M so the 2026 value could be $27.5M. I don't think he'll be worth the tag and I don't think his current trade value is exceptionally high, (maybe pick #45, or 450 Draft chart points). I don't think any of the options are wrong. My guess is they'll try to extend him but they'll let the final year play out if they can't find common ground.

I found out, by saying NO to ESPN, you don't miss a thing.

I would trade DK outside of the division for a 2nd rounder, his cap # and the penalties have tipped the scales.
We need to concentrate on the run-game and defense, sound familiar?
