sounds like they want to replace Bradford with Haynes and make room for outzs to come back.

I wonder if this has nothing to do with anything mentioned above. Kallerup is the same TE but younger and cheaper.

was I speaking greek?

Bradford sucks and Haynes has run this blocking scheme in college.
No you weren't, and it's perfectly ok to want change. It's also ok to hope Haynes would be better. The problem is that dot net folk who attended camp reported that Haynes looked worse than last year. When we saw the preseason games Haynes was the worst performing OL the Seahawks had. He was scary bad against other team's 2nd and 3rd team defense. Had he not been injured I would have expected him to be cut, and i'm not sure he would have been re-signed to the PS. Maybe he was injured all through camp and he'll be decent, but I think it's extremely unlikely.

Curious situation cutting Saubert and then re-signing him, clearly contractually related but we really don’t know the story with this.

It may just be that they temporarily needed a roster spot and that despite being an 8-year veteran his money wasn't guaranteed. I doubt there was significant interest for him from other teams.

Flv, don’t know what roster spot the team needed. Hawkstorian has a theory which you can find near the end of the present roster thread, still it’s confusing. Really can’t understand why he needed to be cut then re-signed to adjust his contract? Is there some Collective Bargain language that requires this to happen?
