I think if we knew how many guys are playing injured in this SB, we would all be shocked. I suspect it's MANY players on both sides.

This is the Hawks 20th game, and the Pats 21st game. That is a ton of wear and tear.

Naproxen is a great drug! I had a high ankle sprain from hockey when I was 20 and doctor gave me those and I was up and about back to work at Safeway collecting buggies and stocking shelves. He will be ok!

him limping to the hotel room did not look promising. At least he wasn't in a boot. This and Charbs are 2 huge blows.

Him limping carrying his own bag and the fact he can put weight on it is incredibly encouraging

I think it's mixed. It obviously doesn't look great, but he's walking under his own power and carrying his own bag. He's not in a boot or on crutches. He has 96 hours between the incident and the SB, which is a chunk of time for healing/rehab.

Long term it’s very encouraging

Short term/will he play Sunday?

We have no clue, the video means nothing
Obviously if he’s still walking like that come Sunday he won’t play

A sprain is ligaments (bone to bone connective tissue), a strain is muscle and/or tendons(muscle to bone connective tissue). Either can be just over stretching (minor) or tear (more serious.)
