KAM played 49 with a torn ACL. Unless I see him in street clothes on Sunday, I'm not buying it.

Well, players get hurt in practice all the time. Preseason, regular season and post season. This isn't something new. I mean, they have to practice.
Also, until we hear that he is OUT, he's not out.

WTF? How do these guys get injured on bye weeks? I am f——g pissed.😡
The Cheatriots get so lucky. The ONE player I did not want to see injured. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Looks like just a minor sprain. If he just came from the doc and had tests done and is walking without a boot or crutches, it's not broken and likely not even a high ankle sprain. With high ankle sprains you still usually get a tight wrap, brace or similar and are required to not place pressure on it.

I just don't know if that vid was after their practices or after the hospital.
I would have to imagine that if he hadn't been for imaging yet they wouldn't let him walk on it if they were concerned (out of an abundance of caution)

No boot after imaging? Yah…it’s a sprain.

He’s playing. He’s walking on it AFTER hitting the hospital. No boot…no crutches…no wheelchair.

Thus…welcome back to the bowl Demmonworri.
You made the same mistake I did.

@pmedic920 corrected me earlier. It's a strain 'cause a sprain would be far worse.

Is it a "sprain" or a "strain", though?

I had been led to believe the latter is less serious than the former.

Nobody seems to be crying over Charbs not being available for this game and maybe not quite Emmanwori importance to the defense as Charbs was to the offense but it stands that this team exemplifies the whole and not the sum of its parts.

12 as one.
We still had Walker

him limping to the hotel room did not look promising. At least he wasn't in a boot. This and Charbs are 2 huge blows.

I hope it is just superficial or has no real impact but I assume it does and that is unfortunate. 3 would have had a great time in this game but honestly, the defense played really well without him for a large chunk of the season. Like the LOB days, I feel like the DLine is the real key to the success of the secondary and the Seahawks' front is just so stacked. A lot of folks claim that it doesn't have one star but 6 good players and I think that is incorrect. I think that the DLine is built with stars and that they don't care about individual numbers. I really want to see 3 in the game but in the big picture it shouldn't have much impact. The Seahawks are going to be milking so much clock on offense that the defense shouldn't see the field that much anyways. :)

Hey.

Just 'cause I found that awesome GIF/Meme before you did, doesn't mean you need to throw a tantrum about it. 😂 😂 😂

Anyway, that was a perfect representation of some of over-the-top reactions in this thread.
Nah, that was me if he doesn't play :)

This isn't a blow until he officially doesn't play.

Not sure if people are actually thinking they lose if he doesn't play. I hope not, that would be silly.

I wasn’t saying it’s either, just that a “sprain” can actually be a significant injury. Especially so in the ankle.

A minor fracture in a not so important place can heal almost completely in 6-8 weeks.
I high ankle sprain can easily take 2x that.

My point is, if we’re going to wish for something here it should be a “strain”.

We tend to forget that a “fracture” can be as simple as a hairline crack, or a bone completely shattered and displaced needing in some cases multiple surgeries. Wide spectrum of severity.

If we want to get technical we need to understand ligaments vs tendons.
Ligaments connect bone to bone, while tendons connect muscles to bone.
Typically speaking a “sprain” involves injury of various degrees to ligaments, and “strain” involves injury of various degrees to tendons.
Both types of injury can be minor or major but in general terms a strain is going to less severe.

ETA:
I’ll clarify before some orthopedic surgeon comes to correct me.
These injuries can all range from minor to severe.
The foot/ankle is much like the hand/wrist, they are very complex and they have many areas that can be injured to some degree.
Hand/Foot is a specialty in Medical practice.
I have been speaking in general layman terms, and I’m not diagnosing anything, nor am I predicting any specific injury or outcome.

Florida and loving GOP country!
I get that limp at work atleast once a month. Pop some pain relief and get back to it.
Naproxen is a great drug! I had a high ankle sprain from hockey when I was 20 and doctor gave me those and I was up and about back to work at Safeway collecting buggies and stocking shelves. He will be ok!

Its Mac Daddy's way of playing with Vrabel and a response to Kraft playing games with team sales information as a distraction. Maye is probably relieved to some level and at game time, Nick is going to play 100% after being listed as doubtful. At the last second, Nick will go back to the locker room, throw the gear on and make it out for the national anthem. Maye will be extremely disappointed to see 3 at full strength and so will the boys catching the ball.
