"The Seahawks traded up from No. 52 to 35th overall to select Emmanwori. Last week, the Cleveland Browns signed 33rd pick Carson Schwesinger, and the Houston Texans inked No. 34 overall wide receiver Jayden Higgins.

Both Schwesinger and Higgins signed fully guaranteed rookie contracts."

On a scale of 1-10 in terms of my worry about this deal getting done, it’s currently a 1.

However, if we’re getting toward end of June and he hasn’t signed, that number will increase significantly. I’ll keep you all informed on that situation.

Have we (the Seahawks) signed any of our draft picks yet? If not, I do wonder what the deal is. Schneider going cheap on us? He been hanging around Stanton too much?

When it comes to contract negotiations, Schneider is in a league by himself. Emmanwori shall not get the better of JS.

Why are 2nd rd picks getting fully guaranteed contracts?
Probably as some sort of compensation for them taking a paycut from their college salary.
I hope I'm not the only one who finds it completely insane that college players are getting paid more than pros. I hate NIL

They're not, aside from a handful of college stars like Ewers who were in demand on that stage, but didn't show enough pro potential to be high draft picks. And if he plays well and proves teams wrong for passing on him, his next deal will blow away anything he got in NIL.

According to PFT only Emmanwori, Arroyo and Milroe haven't signed yet.
