Just out of boredom, I thought I'd post this pick just because in his pick, he seems to thrive on the feedback given to him from Seahawks fans in the "twitterverse". Enjoy...

Seattle 22 - San Francisco 26

We're picking a loss for the best team in football. This figures to be a classic let-down game for the Seahawks, who will be facing the arch-rival Niners just six days after notching an emotional Monday-night win over the Saints. That's a tough assignment, as is facing Michael Crabtree sans a couple of players in the secondary. San Francisco will have to lean on kicker Phil Dawson early and often -- and, more importantly, force Seattle to rely on its kicker, as well. The Niners can't let Russell Wilson run wild. Now, we're sure that the 12th Man is going to blow up Twitter this week, especially after we incorrectly picked the Saints in Week 13. And you can bet a local Seattle writer will retweet this prediction immediately after the game -- if, that is, the Seahawks win -- to seem like a local hero, just like last week.

That said, I'm sticking with my prediction for this week -- and for the whole enchilada, which I called long ago. #SEAvsSF

Honestly, I can't say I totally disagree with the thoughts behind the pick. I had similar thoughts, before I tossed them aside. If it were the Patriots or the Broncos coming up, maybe there could be a little bit of a let down, but this is the Niners and there is a good combination of respect for their talent and bad blood to insure that our guys will be up for this game perhaps even more than the Saints game.

Who cares? They picked a good team to win a big game at home. Means nothing.
Hawks will take care of business, and he'll look stupid.

I understand people predicting a lost because of a let down. I expect a slow start to be honest but I still think we win.

Not saying we don't lose, but the 49ers game could never be a let down game for these players. That's like saying the Ravens could have a let down game versus the Steelers.

What does he mean by "and for the whole enchilada, which I called long ago. #SEAvsSF" Did he forecast the niners to win the NFC?

Edit Correction:

Had to go back and look it up. He did predict Seattle would win the NFC.

My bad.

ding, ding, ding.

Winnah, Winnah, Chicken Dinner! :th2thumbs:

No, he didn't.

If you watch the link in his pick, it's a video where he not only picks the Seahawks to prevail over the 49ers in the NFC Championship due to matchups, but he also picks Seattle to beat Denver in the SB.

Not everyone who picks Seattle to lose is a hater or a homer for another team.

For those who don't know, Harrison is the guy who does the power poll for the NFL.com website each week.

I believe he picked the Broncos over the Seahawks in the superbowl, so as far as the NFC goes, the Seahawks were his pick for the NFC Championship, at least that's what I remember.

I won't be upset if we lose because we'll beat the giants and the Rams or Cardinals no doubt.

But I'm pretty confident in the W this week.

Imagine walking up to Earl Thomas, looking him in the eye and saying, "you're going to lose to the 49ers this week."

Still think the niners will win after that vision in your head?

Didn't think so.

Hawks 23 niners 19.

Orlando, FL...for good.
Greg Rosenthal threw out a little hate as well, (not really hate, just saying hold off on crowning us so quickly) and Dave Dameshek Tweeted him. Amusing exchange:

@greggrosenthal Can we at least give 'em the NFC crown?

@Dameshek If it's Seahawks or the NFC field … I'd still give slight edge to the field.

@greggrosenthal The only field that matters is the CLink, where the Seahawks never lose.

A Steelers fan (Dave Dameshek is a self-admitted Steelers fan) gets it!

Oh god not another seahawks fan who stakes his life on what "other people and the media think of us." I hope you're not a hawks fan because this line of thinking is so pathetic. Are you truly afraid of what the media and other people think of you?
