We don't deserve to win the division if we can't beat them. They also play the Bears and Colts so lets see what happens.

The NFC in general has no one singular scary team; rather 8 or 9 very talented teams with variability being the only noticeable difference week to week.
Whoever ends up being the number 1 seed will not have quite the same level of invulnerability that they usually have.

I was playing around with the tie breakers this afternoon; LA seems to have us covered in all scenarios that we lose one more game this year (non Rams game) and they only lose the game against us. So it’s a tough climb for us to get the division crown; let alone the 1.
The Rams showed they are beatable in the Panthers game, and they have divisional games left if the Cards win one of their games, and we beat them in our game, and who knows how the Lions, Bears, Colts games will play out?... I say the Rams have possibly 3 loses on the rest of their schedule..

Exactly

I did the same and it’s the inspiration for this thread.

Actually it would be fairly easy for us to even miss a wild card spot. (Maybe not easy, but certainly within the realm of possibility).

Look, nobody hates the Niners more than I do. But to be where they are with all these injuries? Pretty damn impressive, and annoying. Shanahan is a hell of a coach. And yes, that hurt to say. Not sure I would call them scary, but dangerous for sure. Same with the Rams. I stick to my opinion that they are not some world beaters that are somehow automatically SB bound. Let's ask the Panthers if they think the Rams are unstoppable.
I might not hate SF as much as you but they are THE team I hate more than any other team. I dislike the Rams but it doesn't come close .

Logical but it’s not how most think.

Awareness is more my point than “worry”.

Yea I get it, nothing WE can actually do but that’s not how being a football fan typically works (least for most of them I know)
Well, you are right, we always think of the 9ers and the Rams, they are like a burr in the Saddle, a itch that won't stop itching. Right now, it's just one game at a time, F*K the 9ers F*k the rAMS, lets hone our skills with the upcoming teams we face.. that is who I thinking of.. but that itch never goes away.

9ers current DVOA rankings, which matches the eye test. CMC is a one-man wrecking crew in their run and pass game. But their defense is pretty soft this season.

They look old, frail and not very good. we're going to dismantle them.
Yep, both the 9ers and the Rams BARELY SQUEAKED by MM's well coached Seahawks with a win, and now MM has their tendencies mapped out, book it.
