The Niners have the same games as us ( pretty much ) and almost all their tough games at home...

The Niners play some of the same teams but not the same schedule. Remember, the Seahawks, considered the best in the NFC, is playing a second place schedule.

The only differences are Packers vs. Vikings and Giants vs. Redskins.

Real question, and not taking anything away from the Hawks or giving anything to the 9ers: Is there anybody in the world who would rather play the Packers and Redskins over the Giants and Vikings?

The Giants and Vikings are a combined 3-13. They're the last place teams from the East and North.

All depends on when and where, doesn't it? I'd take the Packers at home vs. @ the Giants at 10 a.m. most of the time, this year included. And I'd much rather host the Vikes than play @WAS, yep.

Chuck Knox said it years ago. "It's not WHO you play it's WHEN you play them.

Bingo.

This has been gone over before, but since people don't seem to get it.

The difference is 2 games. 2.

I.E. Not enough to make a difference.

Wont this become a problem if the Niners win out? They would win the strength of schedule tiebreaker.

What happens if Aaron Rogers is hurt and the Pack take a dump the next 4-5 weeks. That helps us right? It weakens the 49ers Strength of Victory right? Or am I wrong?

Well, I'll agree that I'd rather face the Vikings than the Packers, if both teams were healthy.

As for the Giants or Redskins, I don't think there's a whole lot of difference between "last place" and "first place" in the NFC East right now. And with RGIII being hobbled/ineffective/whatever, Washington doesn't look nearly as dangerous as they did last season.

In the end, that's only 2 teams, and that doesn't really seem like a big difference in schedules to me.
