Earl Thomas has a shot at Defensive Player of the Year?

One thing is obvious- his total tackle count will DESTROY these numbers by the end of the season.

A safety with that many tackles is not really a good sign. Earl has done a great job tackling guys after a dline-man and/or lb missed a tackle they should have made.

I'm seriously glad we have a guy like him with such great awareness and athletic talent .

Not sure if he'll win DPOY, but nobody should ever have anything negative to say about ET. Earl is without question one of two players we can't do without, with Russell being the other one.

Cmon...don't get me wrong, he's extremely good, borderline great, definitely an all-pro, but he's he's not perfect. Let's not act like he doesn't make mistakes, because he does, but just not very often. I do agree he's the most important piece of the defense and a player that we must have.
