In negotiations:
--It's a given that a "buyer" starts with a lower offer and only increase their offers dependent on their desire for the commodity being bought.
--It's also a given that a "seller" starts with a higher price request and only decreases their asking price dependent on their individual opinion of the commodity being sold and their replacement.
It is possible that Dallas really does want ET and have slowly increased their offering price and they MAY continue the trade talks by adding a player or later round pick to the deal in the next day or two. Due to the holdout situation and large contract that will be required in a new contract Dallas is, to use a poker term, "slow playing" the ET trade talks to try and get the best deal possible. I think ET's time in Seattle is over & it's time to get something for him now rather than waiting until the seasons ends and ET's contract is over. My current projected trade scenario: A 2-nd and a 4-th or a 2-nd and a player (preferably a pass rusher or interior DT). IMO- An ET trade MAY very well happen this week. Maybe?
