Do you guys think the upturn for the Giants is because Dart is better than Wilson, or is it possible the rest of the team is playing harder for this kid?

I’m wondering if team mates just don’t like him (Wilson)
There's no question that Dart is playing better than Wilson. He didn't put up eye popping numbers, didn't even break 200 yards passing, but he made good decisions and didn't turn the ball over.

Whether or not the team is playing harder for him than they were Russell, who knows. But they just got through trouncing the defending SB champ, so there's a good chance that they are. Is it because Russell's teammates don't like him? Sometimes I think we (and I am including myself in this) wish that is true because we have such an intense dislike of the man.

Last night, the Eagles ran the Tush Push on 4 consecutive plays. They do much more of that and the league will bring up the issue of banning it again simply because it's a boring play and 99% successful, something that I don't want to see happen.

That injury to the Giants defensive lineman, Davidson, is the kind of thing that will actually end the tush push. Also, a national audience (mainly rooting against the Eagles) watching it on 4 consecutive plays will not help.

The problem with the push is that u can’t see linemen going illegally ahead

Hopefully the anti-push teams will do a better job next time around persuading a few more teams that this BS play needs to go. Although I did hear that it may not even come up for a vote again next offseason. 🤬

Gotta love this Giants team, though. Fiesty and a ton of chemistry.
I think the two rookies Dart/Skattebo bring a ton of energy to the entire team. It is fun to watch for sure and is garnering results. But for how long?

I am not so sure that their playing style will result in long NFL careers. Dart taking big hits on the regular - Skattebo using his head as a battering ram.

These two guys are currently saving Daboll's job - and he is riding them like rented mules. I doubt Dart lasts the season if they keep running him like that.

Example: Dart checked for concussion - three plays later Daboll sending Dart a quarterback sweep with Skattebo as lead blocker.

He is going to get him killed with consistent play calling like that.

This game is the NFL this year. I can't recall seeing a crazier start to an NFL season. If you can think of one, let me know. The only talk before this game was can the Giants keep it close and maybe eke out a surprise victory with the help of turnovers. No one I heard called the Giants dominating the Eagles, even thought of such a thing, that it was even possible. Remember, the Giants just lost their star receiver.

I see this shyt every week multiple times. The unexpected, unforecasted, unforeseen, unpredicted.
And why we love it so much.

Having just displayed meltdown levels on tv over Russ, Daboll needs to now take accountability by at least demoting him as it’s daboll’s fault Russ is even qb2.

No time to make Russ qb3 like the present minibye. Russ should request a trade and the Giants should take all phone calls till the deadline with a low bar.

D Bag move by Daboll (who later apologized), but how can you blame the guy for being frustrated when your backup option is Mr. I'm Limited?! 😂

I'm looking at the standings and all the NFL teams. The Bengals were the only team that made some kind of sense, and they traded for Flacco. There's only a couple of teams that you could make a case for needing a QB now, the Jets and Saints, and I don't see that happening.

There's a few other teams that could well be looking for a QB ahead, Dolphins, Browns, Raiders, Steelers, perhaps even the Cards and Panthers, but I just can't see it happening with any of these teams either.

So all RW is left with is hoping a playoff contending team loses their QB for the season, or a good span of games. But even then, I'd think such teams would go after a Cousins or a Winston over RW.

He's got to be done, doesn't he?

Sample proposal: Russ to Titans for a seventh round swap. After all, Russ has chemistry with Lockett.
