Fine then lets look at these divisions:
NFC East:
Philadelphia 9-7
Dallas 8-8
New York 4-12
Washington 3-13
NFC West:
San Francisco 13-3
Seattle 11-5
Los Angeles 9-7
Arizona 5-10
The NFC West's 3rd place team has the same record as the winner of the NFC East and yet didn't make the playoffs. The NFC East is the weakest division in the NFL.
So who's divisional rivals are actually competitive and who's aren't??

I get the optimism but to say the Seahawks will steam roll the Eagles is a far fetched considering the injuries and how the team is playing right now.SoulfishHawk":21j5e8um said:Yeah, because the NFC East is SO tough.

is he better than JG?
You seem overtly focused on one bad result.. just to continue to support an incessant need to be miserable.
Noone said this game would be easy. They said the Eagles are bad

It was quoted above by many the game would be easy...one bad result??? Guess you only watched one game this year which would explain your insight.

Philly will also be prepared as they are well coached, the fans are pumped that they are making the same run they did 2 years ago and peaking at the right time (I have many family members in Philly sadly). If we come out and sleepwalk through the first half, we are going to lose. The refs will be on their side as the home team so we need to come out and take the refs out of it.

I watch all the games while reading through your manic explosions in the Gameday forums. That might explain your insight.
you keep whinging about the Cardinals game because it's the one that suits your narrative. Yeah, the team has lost to the #1 seed 9ers (by a mm), the #1 seed Ravens, the 13-3 #3 seeded Saints, and then got trounced by the defending NFC Champs playing for their lives. They've had some bad results.
You seem to only focus on those...
Skeptical is fine. Frustrated as things are going bad is fine. Being miserable a week before kick off seems a waste of energy, man.
Probably pretty good! Home game coming after a huge comeback vs arguably a superior team and another NFC west title. Cousins arguably having a ton of pressure on him to win. The match up probably is better with Philly but pretty sure fans would of wanted to see a win last week.Uncle Si":35y0s3ru said:NJlargent":35y0s3ru said:This game is a significant concern. I just wonder what everyone's mood would be had Hollister fell another inch and we were hosting a Vikings team who is much better than the Eagles.

I get it. Would be boring if we all agreed. Was a frustrating ending which brought back nightmares of 49 so yes misery for sure and the performance vs the Cards was one of the worst in years. Just sucks we missed an opportunity at a bye get a bit healthier and imo a very good chance to get back to the sb...dwelling on it yes. I think they can win but for some to say easy is not the case. Eagles have nothing to lose and have zero expectations on them which imo makes them a dangerous team to play against. Healthy...we beat them...right now it could go either depending on what team shows up sunday. Vikings would have to beat us in our house which has not been easy to do in the playoffs...Uncle Si":dpamo14f said:Cyrus12":dpamo14f said:Probably pretty good! Surprised by that.
I think Minnesota is a far superior team than the Eagles. Defensive line is their strength, and they have far more attacking talents than the Eagles.
I am not saying you hope for a loss to avoid them, just think they are a tougher game.
Also... knock it off with the "far superior fan" nonsense. You and I are yin and yang on here. Im not questioning your fandom. I know you're in it for the long haul.
Certainly can handle calling each other out on it.
