So glad he's a Seahawk!

He sure seems to get skinny as he bursts through small creases in the line.

He is the major reason the Hawks run more than most NFL teams.
Somehow, I don't think that's how it works.

But, he had a great season last year, and I hope it continues. With the O-line mostly returning intact and a much better line coach in house, we should be able to make that happen. With the rebuild of the WR corps, there will be additional opportunities to stretch the field and open even more running lanes. The O-cooridinator has a year working with Pete and the returning players, so should be able to open up his playbook a bit more.

Carson and Penny as a 1-2 punch. Some WRs added with length and speed. Solid base of returning veterans.

Lots of reasons to look forward to this year's offense.

This may b unpopular, however, if he with us for SB 49. I think we run and he gets in. Repeat champs!

Fire away. :irishdrinkers:

Dude has insane acceleration for a RB that size. Pete said he played at 226 last year, but that's with extreme low body fat. His quickness and jump cut are really underrated as well. I remember wanting Fournette for many of the same reasons, but overall the Hawks ended up with the better overall athlete and infinitely better character football player. Really fortunate on this one.

Honestly, as far as holistic attributes overall such as talent level, not being suspended for criminal and other bad behavior, fit with the Hawks idiology on offense, you could look around the league and say maybe only Barkley would be better for the Hawks. Some of the pass catchers like Kamara are obvious, but pounding it in a play action O isn't his forte, for instance. The others tend to get suspended and cause drama. We really do have an apex back again.

He can't be good, he was a 7th rounder, our experts say that nobody makes a impact on the team unless they are a first rounder here. :)

For every GM in the league but Schneider, who's record for 1st-rounders is sometimes questioned.

Carnage

Was disappointed in that last play being a penalty, but a potential nickname just hit me given that every time dude runs, I'm just waiting for somebody to get jacked up. Waiting for the Carnage.

I usually loath nicknames, but whatever.

EDIT: Apparently Mike Davis used to call him Hercules. Didn't seem right to me, but whatever. Also, Chris Carson. Is enormous sitting next to Mike Rob, who's obviously lost weight, but still...
