I'll be rooting for him but I don't think he's ever going to do anything here. I think it's going to be more of the same, I'm expecting Tarvaris Jackson like performances from him and Geno. They're just place holders because our FO didn't like any of the QB's in this draft.

Not according to PC or anything that has been reported. They would have told Denver to keep him if that was how they felt. They would have made a draft day move to get Baker.

You're exactly right, as I believe that Lock has a lot of the tools to succeed, all he needs now is to throw himself into the Waldren Offensive scheme.
KJ Wright said that Baker Mayfield needs to take some time, sit behind another Quarterback & use that time to get his head on straight.

The known problems reported online? Lacking in accuracy, lacking ability to throw in anticipation. Accuracy is the big problem, QB can't succeed if throws weren't accurate.

Yup. That was a big issue with TJack. Wasn't very accurate and couldn't read defenses. Hopefully Lock is young enough to develop those pieces of his game.

I'm rooting for him and hope he does well. But I'm not going to get my hopes up

I will wait to see if Lock can play. his experience in Denver didn't help his development as an NFL QB but he has good size and measurables and a strong arm with albeit suspect accuracy. Lets see if he gets it and can improve his accuracy. Like Aros I'll wait to see what he does in TC before joining his fan club.

Not sure if Lock's a curacy issue was technique or mechanical based or something else, like lacking poises under pressure.

PC has said a lot of things over the years, including calling T-Jack the future of the franchise. There are also a lot of teams that need a QB that aren't touching Baker right now as well.
