Reminder to all that reported NFL contract values don't mean anything at all. You have to see the details before you know whether it's a bad deal, decent deal, or good deal.

Here's what I said about us signing Jones in my February Seahawks plan. May have gotten the figure wrong but we'll see when the details come out.

Jones is an excellent 3-4 defensive end who is just 26 and was rated by PFF as having the 11th best pass rush win rate from 2019-2022. He has liked several anti-Russ posts on twitter recently so he's probably looking for a change of scenery. His deal would be $55m over 4 years, structured as $6m/13m/16m/20m.
