I haven't seen anybody mention this but the way he got out of the way so Kearse could make that TD catch in the NFC CG was incredibly unselfish.
Some WRs would have been zoned in on that ball and would have tried to make a play which in my opinion would have resulted in an injury to both Baldwin and Kearse.
It was just a heads up play by DB, even though Kearse said Baldwin kind of drifted off his route, I felt Baldwin was tracking the ball and was preparing to snag the tip if Kearse couldn't make the play.
I might be way off-base, and completely homefried but I feel like Doug Baldwin is the best WR in the Superbowl.
And if Baldwin played in the right system with a historic QB like Manning, he'd put up Marvin Harrison numbers.
Demaryius Thomas has 92 catches for 1430 yards and 14 TDs
Baldwin at 92 catches would have 1435 yards, and about 9+ TDs.
Baldwin is also about 5 inches shorter, about 30 pounds lighter, not as athletically gifted, and went undrafted.
Okay, Baldwin isn't the best WR on the field but that won't stop him from competing to be the most productive/most impactful one come Superbowl Sunday.
