It's not balanced ...... at all.

23% run / 77% pass

The reasoning:

70% O Line
30% Grubb

The line position group has been an issue through multiple coordinators.

4 rb carries in the first half. insane. I know they had to sling it exclusively on that last drive but still no excuse. I hope they can get the ground game going in the 2nd half.

Newsflash: The run game ain't getting going this year.

MM has been saying for 8 weeks that we've got to get it going. Grubb's been ignoring that for the same 8 weeks.

Couple oline upgrades and Grubb gone next year and we're gonna get somewhere.

I anticipated another lop sided approach.

Fortunately, I took in the Raven - Steelers game yesterday.

You can't completely abandoned the run. K9 has 5 ypc on 4 carries, how is that not working. You keep pounding it and eventually he pops of a big one. Keeps em' from pinning their ears back. Keeps them of the field more. I don't want to see shootout with a higher scoring offense.

Grubb is awful. No surprise. His third down calls are complete rubbish. Low Percentage fades and deep balls every time.

You don't want balanced. Ideally you want a 2-3 passes for every run. Unless you have an exceptional RB which we don't.

70/30 is better. Depends on the team. But generally pass plays generate 3x more yardage than runs.

The #s to contrast is # of yds per pass ATTEMPT vs per run attempt. Our yardage per run is pretty low vs same on per pass attempt. Or was when I checked.

Yes, but there are other factors. More time consuming drives keeping our defense off the field and theirs on it.
