Who wins tonight?

On one hand, the bucs played the seahawks very tough last week, albeit with some fluky plays going their way. I think this team is way more talented than 0-8, they are playing at home and retiring Warren Sapp's jersey to get an emotional boost. Glennon seems to have poise, Mike James can gain yards and when a team plays like it has nothing to lose, it can be a dangerous team.

On the other hand, if you take away Vincent Jackson, they have limited options outside of him, and their run defense was not able to hold off Lynch even when they knew the run was coming.

Dolphins are the more talented team, and they have alot more to play for than the Bucs. I feel like Wallace will be neutralized by Revis, and the Dolphins O-line was abysmall with Incognito and Martin, so i cant imagine how they will perform without them. They did show well against a talented Bengals team last week, but for some reason my gut keeps telling me that the bucs get their 1st W tonight

Any thoughts?

I think the buc's win, well i'd like to see that anyways, would make me feel much better about that head scratcher last week.

Tampa Bay. They were still playing hard last week in Seattle ..... despite their record.

I think this is easily the worst game of the weekend and surely the worst monday night game this year.

I'm not to sure if I care who wins enough to even tune it in. I tried to watch the game last night and decided recored stuff 20 years old was preferable.

Has anyone looked at the schedule the Bucaneers have played that has given them the 0-8 start?? It is pretty crazy and has to be one of the toughest in the NFL - and it doesn't get much easier from here:

  • Week Date Opponent Result Final score Team Record
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1 September 8 at New York Jets L 18–17 0–1
    2 September 15 New Orleans Saints L 16–14 0–2
    3 September 22 at New England Patriots L 23–3 0–3
    4 September 29 Arizona Cardinals L 13–10 0–4
    5 Bye
    6 October 13 Philadelphia Eagles L 31–20 0–5
    7 October 20 at Atlanta Falcons L 31–23 0–6
    8 October 24 Carolina Panthers L 31–13 0–7
    9 November 3 at Seattle Seahawks L 27–24 (OT) 0–8
    10 November 11 Miami Dolphins
    11 November 17 Atlanta Falcons
12 November 24 at Detroit Lions
13 December 1 at Carolina Panthers
    14 December 8 Buffalo Bills
    15 December 15 San Francisco 49ers
16 December 22 at St. Louis Rams
17 December 29 at New Orleans Saints

I definitely think they could get a win tonight, especially with everything that is hanging over the Dolphins - Tampa Bay had a pretty good rush and you have to figure that the Dolphin's line likely has some issues now that they are missing both Martin and Incognito.

If we didn't completely crush the soul of the Bucs last week, I think they win. They've been playing really hard, they have some real talent, and Miami is a mess.

Hmm, let's see, the mammals that look like fish and get packed into little cans and sold as tuna, or the pirates that take over ships and fire their cannons at the mammals that look like fish and get packed into little cans and sold as tuna?

I'll take the guys shooting the cannons.

There's also that other little off field thing the Dolphins are embroiled in. Not sure they're going to be at their best tonight. I'd go with the Bucs.

Well, so far they have gone right down the field as if Miami wasn't even there. Now with James hurt and the ball on the one yard line, I wonder what they will do?

I have a vested fantasy interest. Down .7 points with the bucs defense. Opponent has Hartline

That answers that. Throw it into the end zone and let the fat boy engulf it!
