Not chastising anyone. You clearly just want to argue. Great.
If people are gonna' say he does this or that, when he has cut WAY back on it, I'm going to voice my opinion. Just like they voice theirs. Some like him, some don't. Cool. Again, it's not that important. You're just making up stuff that I didn't say. I didn't say anything about the last 8 games :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Not here to argue, it's not worth it. Go Hawks

It isn't even close to 24/7. You are a massive DK fan. That's fine but you brought this up. No one else did. No one even said one negative thing about DK. You immediately jumped in and started your poor pitiful DK posts like you usually do before anything was even said.

Dude, get over it. Geezus.
You literally said this:
DK brings the criticism on himself. Not necessarily about selling tickets but his repeated bonehead penalties and turnovers. Highest in the league at his position since he has been playing.
Seahawk fans didn't just decide to get irritated with him. He brought it on himself with repeated stupid moves and then some comments saying he isn't going to change and hasn't done anything wrong.
Dude isn't the brightest bulb in the box.

That's not something Negative about DK?

Go Hawks

Soulfishhawk, you brought up DK. I didn't, I'm merely responding. No one was even talking about DK and your in here making him a victim of some Phantom attack.
You then created a strawman argument that he is called a cancer by this board which he wasn't. I was merely pointing out the actual legitimate criticism he has received here because you were bringing up past posts regarding DK.

Fair enough, that's your version. I can respect that. For the record, I ended my post with
/sarcasm

Go Hawks!

This whole “just sell them to another Hawks fan” is a total canard, generally told by people who have never tried to manage a season’s worth of ticket pairs.

I had one game this year where my tickets didn’t sell, even below face value. It’s looking like the Vikings game may be the same story.

I just drove 1,044 miles round trip, through 3 mountain passes each way, in snow and ice storms to attend the Packers game. I’ve flown the same distance to attend three other losses this year. I even bought a second pair of tickets, off Ticketmaster, so a couple of friend could go to one of these games.

I can’t make the Vikings game, because I have to work that weekend, so I’ll sell them to whoever will actually buy them. Hawks fans aren’t lining up for tickets.

GTFOOH with the whole “real fan” BS. Maybe it’s the people who aren’t lining up to buy tickets who aren’t “the real fans.”
If you can't sell your tickets, PM my daughter (PrincessHawk on .net). She and her husband are on the years-long list for season tickets and generally jump at any chance to attend. Real-fan cred: she was really sick and in the hospital when she was 5. The nurse asked her what she wanted to watch on the tv. Her answer? "My Daddy's Seahawks!"

DK doesnt have any of those "boneheaded" penalties this year, assuming you mean the unsportsmanlike ones. He actually doesn't have any penalties of any kind since week 4.

He's keeping his cool, he has shown he's super willing to do the small things that don't show up on the stat sheet. He takes on double teams constantly and doesn't whine about not getting the ball...

Nobody should have any issues with him at this point.

Hey Geek: Just about every week, day before or morning of, I get messages from friends who can't make the game for various reasons. Always trying to help them sell their tickets. I'll def. shoot her a message if I hear of anyone this weekend looking to unload tickets.

Yep, I agree. DK has cut out the dumb stuff lately. That's awesome and shows he can do it.

The one thing they do risk is that if someone gets in a fight or something like that, YOU can lose your season tickets. And I know people who have lost theirs because an opposing fan got them kicked out of their seats.
Not if you sell them through Ticketmaster, which is why many STH do exactly that. It feeds into the whole problem of opposing fans getting the tickets, but protects the STH from exactly this issue.

If someone sits in your Season Ticket seats and gets kicked out, or in a big fight etc. You flat out can lose your season tickets. We had someone just a couple seasons back 2 rows behind me lose his tickets permanently. He got one game the first time, then we just stopped seeing him. My rep said he got them revoked for good.
I didn't know that people could be protected if they sell their seats on Ticketbastard. Damn. I've never sold them on Ticketmaster. Makes sense if they're protected.
I've never heard that from anyone though. Very interesting.

the lesson I'm hearing is that those of us who are not ticketholders should buy tickets and get into fights with fans of the opponent. Then the STH has a chance of losing their seat, opening it for someone on the list. Hopefully the tickets weren't sold through ticketmaster. :p
