DJ Fluker Released by Seahawks

Just wondering if it was a depth issue, left side versus right side, some guys can't do the other side and we have a lot of guys that can play the right side.

Interesting decision making by the Seahawks... Iupati was useless last season. Both Iupati and Fluker got injured but at least Fluker was more productive.

Iupati: 1015 snaps, 5 sacks allowed, 60.3 PFF grade, $2.5m ($1m guaranteed)
Fluker: 863 snaps, 6 sacks allowed, 60.4 PFF grade, $3.5m ($0.5m guaranteed)

Iupati was more available, gave up less sacks, had a similar PFF grade and costs less. I don't think there's much of a mystery there.

Iupati was also behind a lot of our biggest run plays. Plenty of tape out there to observe.
