Did the week off effect their play?

I don't have any information to back this claim, but don't most teams play/performance drop off after a "bye" week during the regular season?

I saw a stat where the number 6 seed had a great win-loss record against the number 1 seed, so I suspect the week off has something to do with it.

I believe the Hawks overcame the bye week blues with this win and should be back to their normal self next week.

Thoughts?

No cuz the Hawks pasted this team 34-7 coming off the bye the last time our guys played them.

I think it did have something to do with it, they weren't very sharp and even though it wasn't a problem the first time, this is a much bigger game and the extra time allows the nerves to get to you.
