I believe Rob has said he himself decided not to do it anymore and focus on football. It was fun while it lasted. Bringing back MRob should always have been about what happens on the field than rather than what was on Youtube.

Agreed. Especially when you feature semi-tards like CM rapping about weed. Just dumb. That aside, MRob definitely has a career after football.

Everyone keeps vilifying CMike for rapping about weed. Mrob could have, and in hind sight should have edited that part out. Do people really think that it never gets talked about in that (or any other) locker room? Just happened to have a camera in his face when he was rapping. Cut the dude some slack.

i think it was purposely kept in because it showed Chris Clemons taking care of it and showing the locker room leadership that was present. I dont think anyone cares in the locker room that that stuff is talked about or joked about. But even on a "inside the locker room" video, that kinda stuff doesnt look good for the public to see. Watching Clemons handle it was great to see.

How could it have contributed to Moffitt getting traded?

I think MROB getting cut and then brought back mid-season is why you don't see the RRR...why would he come back and start changing things on a winning team by introducing the camera element again?
As was said just two posts above yours, it showed an attitude about Moffitt that wasn't very serious. He'd be caught sitting around, goofing off. It exposed his work ethic or lack thereof. It comes as little surprise that he retired. No heart for it. I love the guy, was never a hater, but it takes a different kind of person to go through what those guys go through. I respect his choosing his life over the physical destruction he'd have to take. I'm glad for him. But I thought, boy, if PC sees how he acts when the coach isn't around, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't go over well.

I don't know...somehow i doubt Pete discovered Moffitt's personality by watching the RRR.

I don't get how it's a distraction. Believe it or not, these guys aren't practicing, working out, or studying 24 hours a day. There is a ton of downtime in a week of football. Why do you think locker room culture is such a big deal (looking at you Miami)?

Other than Michael rapping about drugs and hoes, it's mostly been clean fun.

I felt that it directly contributed to getting Moffat traded. Always felt that way.

I'm with ya . . . Moff's preoccupation with his success on RRR rather than at his position on the OL, and subsequent trade to Denver for a bag of chips probably led to RRR demise

Robinson is worried it would be a distraction. It was in his presser when he came back.

The other major reason we won't see it is that the RRR served it's purpose. It got MRob into the NFL media and got him on the NFL Network. He said in an article that NFL Network had just approached him about hosting his own show when the Seahawks called him. He still wants to play football, so he turned them down.

He's set up for life after football, which is what I figured RRR was about anyways; a good way for fans to get to know players, and a good way for the NFL media to get to know MRob.

Didn't know about the NFLN offer. That's very cool. I'll be tuning in whenever he decides to hang em up.

Distraction? It's not like he's filming it during practice. The people who aren't In it are just screwing around or on their phone in the background. The weed thing with CMike might have been what put a end to it though.

RRR is a piece of Seahawk history. With Pete here, it is highly unlikely to return as it appeared to really bother some players.

This is news to me. Who did it bother?

Aside from the time where he was bugging Clemons who gave a few pretty firm "look, this is NOT the time" lines, it seems most were on board with it.

"Messin with Marshawn" was as much Marshawn "Messin with M-Rob"

Pete was once asked who he would like to be stuck on a desert island with and he said John Moffit. Said he was a great guy.

This is an outrage!!

That said, I foresee a one-off postseason RRR from NYC last week of January...

8-1 without it!!!!!

I loved the show, but there is no reason to distract the players at this point. let them focus on the task at hand and that is home field advantage throughout the playoffs and hopefully the SB.
